17th August Mini Update
- The bottom four couples are: Kritika-Mayank, Chetan-Sayongita, Reshmi-Sayantan and Vikas-Deepika.
- Kritika-Mayank and Reshmi-Sayantan are the bottom two couples.
- Reshmi-Sayantan are eliminated.
- Sayongita wins the Lux Khoobsurat Performance of the Day for her performance with Chetan on the song 'Nagada Nagada' from Jab We Met.
- Twinkle and Puneet return to the show.
17th August Detailed Update
Salil and Suvarna introduce the remaining jodis on the show. They continue by introducing the mentors and the jodis stand and applaud for their respective mentors. Suvarna says that the elimination will take place immediately rather than at the end of the episode. Salil announces that Vikas and Deepika are unsafe. He then tells Shabana that one of her Eastern Tiger jodis is safe and the other unsafe. Shabana replies that both her jodis performed well last week and does not feel either deserves to be among the bottom four couples. Suvarna asks Amrita if she still believes Sayantan does not have the X factor or potential to become a star. Amrita says this is my personal opinion and I hope I am wrong. Suvarna then asks if Amrita had to choose between Naman and Bindu's jodi and Reshmi and Sayantan's jodi, who would she want in the bottom four. Amrita replies Reshmi and Sayantan. Salil announces the audience agrees with Amrita and Reshmi and Sayantan are in the bottom four. Jay and Rituka are called on stage. Salil scares Mihika and Salil by saying they are in the bottom four but eventually, tells them they are safe. Both central zone jodis, Kritika and Mayank and Chetan and Sayongita, are unsafe. Vikas and Deepika are called on stage to replace Jay and Rituka. Salil and Suvarna declare Vikas and Deepika and Chetan and Sayongita safe. Therefore, the bottom two couples are Reshmi and Sayantan and Kritika and Mayank. The contestants unanimously vote out Reshmi and Sayantan. Shabana commends Reshmi and Sayantan for acting in a dignified manner and wishes them the best of luck in their future careers. Before leaving, Reshmi and Sayantan perform to 'Dholi Tharo Dhol Baja' from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.
MIHIKA - SAHIL (Northren Eagles)
Video: Mihika and Sahil are having dinner and Mihika suggests playing a game. She says that they each ask each other two questions from which they answer one truthfully and lie about the other. Mihika asks Sahil if he loves her, Sahil says a little. Sahil asks Mihika if she will give him her entire business, she says she will give him a little. 😆 Mihika asks are you pretending to love me? Sahil answers yes and Mihika says, meaning no. Sahil laughs and says of course not. Sahil asks if Mihika will sacrifice her life for him. Mihika replies no and Sahil pressures her to prove it to him. He hands her a knife and Mihika, to Sahil's disbelief, cuts herself.
Performance: 'Saiyan Saiyan' from Salaam-e-Ishq.
Comments and Scores:
Mahesh- Both very good but especially Mihika. The discomfort you had, Mihika, is gone. Somewhere, you were a bit lacking Sahil but overall a good job. He gives them an 8.
Zeenat- Sahil, you were not as good in the screenplay as you usually are. The dance was good but Mihika, you lost your lip sync in two or three places. She gives them a 7.
Shabana- Mihika, your performance was surprising and well balanced. It was very, very good. In the scene, you did not convince me, Sahil. Mihika was also better in the dance. I have seen better work from you, Sahil. She gives them an 8.

Suvarna comments that one jodi of the Northern Eagles is strong and confident [referring to Vikas and Deepika] while the other is struggling [referring to Mihika and Sahil]. Mihika says that Vikas and Deepika are a very strong couple and physically, they are mindblowing. They do have the X factor yet, I also feel they are somewhat overrated. Mihika says if we are not as good as them, we are not that bad either. Vikas says they are working hard like everyone else. Deepika says that if you are not good, all the PR, hype and "crap" will not matter. Amrita says that they should not get involved in this and work harder next time.
KRITIKA - MAYANK (Central Cheetahs)
Video: Mayank and Kritika meet again. Mayank says his fate must be great since they keep on meeting. Kritika laughs and tells him he knows how to flirt well. Mayank says he was not flirting but being genuine. He offers to give Kritika a ride home when her abusive boyfriend comes. Kritika's boyfriend behaves very rudely and smashes the headlight on Mayank's bike with a stick. Kritika's boyfriend orders her to leave with him. She looks sad and is about to leave with her boyfriend when Mayank smashes her boyfriend's bike's headlight with his foot. Kritika is shocked. Mayank says he does not keep anyone's favours and could have broken the entire bike but did not out of respect for Kritika.
Performance: 'Chale Jaise Hawayein' from Main Hoon Na.

Amrita- Mayank, I am very impressed with you today. I used to think you were a single dimensional performer with your "angry, young man" persona. However, it was nice to see your smile today. Sorry Kritika, I paid more attention to Mayank. She gives them a 9.
Mahesh- I liked the song and I enjoyed the song. Kritika, you looked nice as a school girl. Superb. He gives them an 8.
Shabana- Why did you choose this song? Kritika replies that we took a risk by choosing a more fun, playful song than our usual serious performances with stronger dance steps. Shabana says you made a good decision. Mayank, your eyes spoke the truth and I was very impressed by your performance. She gives them a 9.

CHETAN - SAYONGITA (Central Cheetahs)
Video: Sayongita is at a restaurant waiting for Chetan for longer than half an hour. She tries his cell phone but he does not answer. Chetan is shown shooting someone outside. Suddenly, a few police officers come and Chetan tells them to arrest the man he just shot. The police officer says he does not understand Chetan's plan. Chetan says there is no need to understand it but still explains 😆 that Sasha (presumably, Sayongita's father) thinks Chetan is working for him. Yet, Sasha does not know that Chetan is an undercover police officer.
Performance: 'Nagada Nagada' from Jab We Met.
Comments and Scores:
Amrita- Sayongita, for the first time, I felt you were comfortable on stage and with your movements. All in all, a very enjoyable performance. She gives them an 8.
Shabana- Sayongita, you were very, very good. Chetan, for the first time I felt, your stakes were not high. You were not performing whole-heartedly. She gives them an 8.
Mahesh- Sayongita was good but Chetan was lacking slightly. He gives them a 7.

Salil asks Mihika what she thought of Chetan and Sayongita's performance. She says that she is a big fan of Chetan and does not see anything apart from him. Mihika tells Sayongita to not become too big for her boots and don't rub people the wrong way. Sayongita is confused and does not know what she did. Mihika says you know what I'm talking about. Sayongita says she does not have a clue and would like to know, to which Mihika replies Sayongita needs to go home and do some introspection. Sayongita replies that she does not have any problem with Mihika and if she ever does, she has enough courage to say it to Mihika's face. Sayongita says that this must be a misunderstanding and Mihika says I said what I had to say and now, stop projecting this image of yours. Sayongita says she has enough "sanskaars" to behave respectfully in front of the mentors and likes her image. The judges applaud. Shabana, in particular, says as an actor, you always have to behave in a civilized manner and concentrate on your performance.
VIKAS - DEEPIKA (Northern Eagles)
Video: Vikas and Deepika are walking in the garden. Deepika describes her dream which is to have a fountain, flowers etc. in the garden. Vikas humourously says that is enough for now.
Performance: 'Mission Istanbul' from Mission Istanbul.
Comments and Scores:
Shabana- The dance was absolutely superb. You both had the right attitude and intensity. Vikas, please note that an actor's eyes and mouth are the most important part of the face. Bring intensity to your eyes and not your forehead. She gives them a 9.
Mahesh- I liked the dance but the bands (Vikas and Deepika danced with ribbon bands for a portion of their performance) were not that good. He gives them a 9 and says he would have given a 10 if it were not for the bands.
Zeenat- The only flaw with your performance were the bands. Otherwise, it was really, very good. She gives them an 8.

Suvarna show Vikas and Deepika a special video. The video is of Vikas and Deepika's rehearsal backstage showing them both behaving rudely with the unit of the show. Deepika keeps telling the prodution assistants etc. to turn off the camera because it is too hot. The unit does not listen and Vikas eventually yells and turns off the lights etc. himself. The employees are shocked and ask him why he did that. Vikas yells at them and asks them who are they to ask him questions. Vikas threatens to walk-out of the rehearsal. Later, Deepika is shown outside talking to the camera. She says she will not work in such conditions because she is not desperate to become an actor. She says she can walkout any time and it will not bother her. During the episode, Deepika says her comments were because she has an ankle injury. Vikas says he wants to tell the judges his scenes are not being shot properly. The judges object and say they are experienced enough to tell whether an actor is talented or not even in poorly shot scenes.
NAMAN - BINDU (Eastern Tigers)
Video: Naman enters Bindu's dressing room where she is sitting anxiously. Naman asks Bindu if she has ever thought of being on the big screen. He says this is not the time to be scared and calls her beautiful. Bindu looks into the mirror and says, yes Bindu, now is the time to do something. Why be afraid of beauty? The video ends with a long shot on a bar of Lux soap. 😆
Performance: 'Dil Dooba' from Khakhee.
Comments and Scores:
Zeenat- You both had good close-ups on screen. Very pleasant. I was not blown away but it was good. She gives them an 8.
Mahesh- Bindu, you gave great expressions although, you had no lines in the video. You both play up your strengths and that is what I like. He gives them a 10.
Amrita- You were superb. It was effortless. You compliment each other well. She gives them a 9.

JAY AND RITUKA (Western Sharks)
Video: Jay proposes to Rituka and she accepts. Jay is overjoyed and phones his friends to tell them the good news. Rituka also calls someone and says it won't take much time. She says she's sorry but this is her job.
Performance: 'Saathiya' from Darling.
Comments and Scores:
Shabana- I liked you both in the scene. Congratulations Jay, you have not overused your smile today. I did not feel the intensity in the performance. She gives them a 7.
Amrita- I was very touched. Jay, you have a very expressive face and I was happy with Rituka. She gives them an 8.
Zeenat- I liked your scene but your steps had no perfection or precision. She gives them a 7.

The TATA Indicom phone call is for Jay. The caller asks Jay if he eliminated Karan and Archana, his fellow teammates, due to insecurity. Jay says no. He eliminated Karan and Archana because Archana was not matching up to Karan.
Salil announces Twinkle and Puneet's return. A video is shown with Twinkle and Puneet who say they are returning to the show for their fans and supporters. They also apologize to the judges for not listening to them.
TWINKLE - PUNEET (Central Cheetahs)
Video: Puneet and Twinkle run a campaign to fight injustice in their college. Twinkle supports Puneet to be elected as president because he will be the voice of the students.
Performance: 'I'm the Best' from Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani.
Comments and Scores:
Mahesh- I am not welcoming them back but I will judge you fairly. Puneet, you are too loud but your performance was fair. He gives them a 7.
Amrita- I think your comeback is against the format but I welcome you back anyway. Puneet, you did a good job. She gives an 8.
Shabana- You are not here to win a popularity contest so I will not comment on your behaviour. Puneet, you said your dialogues well and you both were cheeky in choosing the song. She gives them a 10.

A flashback video is shown of several contestants and judges voicing their negative opinions on Twinkle and Puneet's walkout. Twinkle says when they left the show, they never thought they would come back but they were called back by the audience. They only returned to respect their audience's wishes. She says she walked out in the first place because despite a good performance, the audience did not vote for her jodi. In the future, she says they will not walk out as their previous walk out was thought of as an act of cowardice. A special video of Karan is shown where he says to all the contestants to give it their best shot. He then says that some contestants feel the show is a "Joggers Park" and keep entering and leaving like one. Twinkle says that she does not care what Karan says as he is already eliminated and he can stay outside. She says she was called back by the audience and will give it her best shot. Also, she says, Karan should run in Joggers Park as it is good for his health.
Shabana announces Sayongita as the winner of the Lux Khoobsurat Performance of the Day.
A video is shown asking various contestants what they feel about Twinkle and Puneet's return. Most contestants say they do not care and are not affected by their antics. In the end, Twinkle is shown and says who are these people to talk about me. She says she does not give a damn about what they say. Puneet says the more they criticize him, the more popular he will become. He says he is happy to see the fear on the contestants' faces after his return and ends with an evil laugh.
