21 June Episode
Annu Kapoor welcomed everyone to the Show and informed that it was as important episode today, since from this day onwards, voting would start and the voting lines would stay open till Monday night/ Tuesday morning 2 a.m.
IA said that since it was an auspicious moment, they could all start with 'ibadaat' and hence the Sufi Sultanat should start.
Round 1 :
RA invited Akbar Ali (Contestant No. 11) on stage who sang 'Ek khair banda soniya mein teri, duja na koi ..' on completion of which he got a standing ovation from the audience.
IA referred to him as 'Akbar the Great' and said that he had sung exceedingly well. She informed that she had decided to tune down the marks for this episode. But Akbar had mesmerized her and she was forced to give high marks. She gave him 9/10.
ARA complimented Akbar that even his appearance reeked of Sufiyaana and that he had performed very well. He gave Akbar 9/10.
RA said that Akbar's performance had elevated the level of music and he blessed him for his superlative performance.
The next performer was Malini (Contestant No. 23) from Maati Ke Lal group. IA introduced Malini as 'suroon ki pichkari' and informed that she would sing a folk song called sohar (which was usually sung when a child was born) which was sung when Lord Ram was born. Malini sang 'Are awadh me baaje badhiayan, Ramji ae bhai le janam, kar aayi darsanwa …'
She also received a standing ovation for her performance.
RA praised Malini saying that she has sung the difficult places with great ease and that her song made all of them get a glimpse of Lord Ram's birth. He gave her 9/10.
ARA sad that it was a 'dumdar' performance and often folk singers lost their flavour while singing. He was hoping throughout that malini would not end up losing her threads also he gave her 9/10.
IA blessed Malini and said that her performances remind her of the great Teejan Bai, especially the 'khanak' in his voice.
Next it was Bollywood Ka Badshah's turn and ARA requested Antara to sing.
Antara (Contestant No. 31) chose 'Sajan ghar aana tha …'
IA said that Antara was one of her favourite singers but today's performance did not impress her much. She gave Antara 7.5/10.
RA also said that there were some mistakes made in the beginning but that he doesn't want her lose heart. He gave her 8/10.
ARA said that he was lost in the moment when he had written the song so he was oblivious to her faults. He asked Antara to keep in mind the mistakes pointed out so that she could work on them.
Round 2 :
This round started with Kalpana's (Contestant No. 21) performance who sang 'Hathon mein mehndi, maang sindooria …'. The audience started dancing and after hersong was over, Annu Kapoor came and congratulated her.
RA stood up to clap after Kalpana's performance and said that he had never seen such a flawless performance in his entire life. He gave her 9/10.
ARA commented that Kalpana was god-gifted but the way she was using her gifts was awesome. It was a very melodious performance and he gave Kalpana 9/10.
IA enlightened everybody that the 'sarhad par' contestants has named Kalpana as 'Atom Bomb'.

RA then invited Mohd. Vakil (Contestant No. 14) to come and sing. He chose the song 'Aaya tere dar par deewana …'. He also received a standing ovation from everybody.
ARA stated that even if 10 Music Directors had assembled, non eof them would have tired of Vakil's singing. He gave him 9/10.
IA said that it was an extraordinary performance and his singing was like the free flow of a river. She gave 9/10 to Vakil.
RA praised Mohd. Vakil and said that he has rightfully earned his place in the Sufi Sultanat.
Next Saptak (Contestant No. 32) came on stage to sing 'Sawaariya…'.
After his act, IA shared with everybody that the songs of Saawariya were very close to her heart and she loved the way Saptak handled the song. She gave him 9/10.
RA said that he had heard this song a lot and he liked the way Saptak made a few changes in the song to add a new flavour. He also gave Saptak 9/10.
Round 3 :
It started with Rajeeb's performance who dedicated a song to his Mother 'Maaye ni mere yeh ke jamurey kinare …'
(Sorry the power went off over here, so don't know about the comments from the other 2 Judges as well the marks he got and also his Contestant ID no.)
Abbas Ali(Contestant No.12) could not come but I think there was a proxy performance. Ain't aware of his performance or marks.
This round ended with Sharib's (Contestant No. 34) performance who sang 'Hare Ram Hare Krishna …'
RA said that although there was a lot of potential, yet Sharib's performance was not upto the mark. He gave him 9/10.
IA praised Sharib for his for his attitude which propelled himt o come and perform on stage even though his voice was lost. She gave him 8/10.
Then Harshdeep (Contestant No. 13) stepped onto the stage . She sang 'Jhule jhule lal dum mast kalandar …'
ARA said that it was very good singing, especially the way Harshdeep controlled her voice towards the end. He gave her 8/10.
IA said that she had more expectations from Harshdeep and added that she has a very different voice texture which was an asset. She gave her 7.5/10.
Round 4:
Shadab (Contestant No. 33) started this round with his song 'Tanhayee …'.
IA said that ths voice reflected the pain as in the song and it was a good performance. She gave Shadab 8/10.
RA aid that feelings and expressions are important in a song. He gave him 7.5/10
ARA said though his voice was good, yet he has to take care of his stage chemistry too.
Lakhwinder Wadali (Contestant No. 22) was the last performer of the day. He sang 'Neema kamli yaar di, kamli …'
ARA commended Wadali for his control on higher notes and for singing well. He gave him 8/10.
RA said that Wadali had performed with great force and he gave him 8.5/10.
At the very end, Annu Kapoor mentioned the End Results :
Bollywood – 65.5/80
Sufi – 68.5/80
Maati Ke Lal – 70.5/80
The Winner of the Day was Maati Ke Lal though he reminded the audience once again that the voting lines have been opened and the audience would now decide the future of the contestants.
