dev's behaviour

hello to all,

now ls has taken U turn, all what has happened in recent episodes was not obvious but not unnatural, the way dev is behaving and turning negative is not unnatural.. again hats off to anurag basu and story-teller. it is not only dev's unsuccessful first love to shruti that became cause of dev's negative character. things gradually were growing up shaping up in his mind/heart since long and he always feel insecure in presence of akash. he is lonely person in his life and akash makes him feel more lonely(without knowing this, indirectly).though he likes akash to some extent, but akash's popularity, talent..... make him jealous and feel him that life always does injustice to him, u can say some sort of inferiority complex. and when he actually blessed by first love, he would have thought life is not so cruel to him, and there were some rays of happiness, good hopes and and again he was hitted by life and that time again cause was akash. love between shruti and akash was the extreme point of what we can say' feeling of ignorance 'in dev's heart that makes him psychic and violent.

He did not murder bhatti for a girl but it is feeling of ignorance, insecurity, inferiority, and gradually these things become weird in his mind and cause of unusual things.

Hats off to director and story teller who produces such a drama so we can analyze it very well on a psychological ground.

yaa i agree with u,but it so sad that preson killing his friend who is actualy more than his friend bhatti was his brother,his family

i agree wid.. Dev did all this in jealousy not coz of the love ....

we all blame Shruti for this... but Shruti did nothing man... c'mon.. Dev is not a dumb or something.. he always knew that Shruti loves Akash and Akash wasnt showing any interest towards her so she used Dev for that.. and Dev knew that before.. its just that he didnt want to admit it... and when Akash and Shruti were together.. he felt jealous again...

as u said LSCRAZY.. that things were building up in his mind from the beginning coz of the talent Akash had.. and again when his love went to Akash.. he gone crazy... anywayz.. the writers did a nice job tho.. coz at first.. Dev was the second hero of the Serial.. we all loved him... and suddenly it took a U turn and Dev became Negative... !!

im sure all are gonna agree that ajay has done great justice to the character...... i mean his acting was tremendous.......it might have been tough for him coz till now he was'nt even shown angry any time, his character was very calm... and suddenly portraying a character of a psycho is not easy.... one needs time to get into the skin of the character... but the very first scene of such type was also so perfectly portrayed by him....

yup i agree wid u 100% he has dun full justice to the character, wot a gr8 actor he is to pull of bein a mentally sick n challengd person 👏 vah

guys i truly agree there are no words to express what sincere actor he is i think he is a thorough professional and he has proved it in his recent episodes it shows hw dedicated he is to his work i think he deserves an awar for his splended performance in love story.......
his expressions are so natural he brings the character to life....

I dont think it was all related. Him being lonely, insecured and all. Its only now that we r relating all this. And guess thats the trick. The director succeeded in what he wanted to show & make us believe. He wanted us to relate all this, I mean him turning this way to his childhood n college days. It must have been hard for them to turn an all good character suddenly turning this evil, so they showed him killing Bhatti sooo badly. But I dont think this how it was suppose to be. They had to show the political angle to the love story but they somehow shifted here. And we'll in a way believe it also coz the show is named 'Love Story'.
