Okay this is what my guess will happen: and i can be completely wrong too😆
Ila will FIRST ask prithvi about what he thinks of damini as a person minus the romantic angle, he will probably give a pretty honest answer that she is strong, blah blah....and while they discuss her, she will ask him if he will marry her... or that does he have any feelings for her...
I think Ila wants to know before she asks Damini what he feels about her and his long term intention whether he wants to keep it professional or take it up one step further...
Prithvi shocked at first will think a moment Flashbacks of all Prida moments the way he sees her followed by boooooring stupid revenge FBs... Since marriage was never in his plan and he probably has too much respect for marriage andt he fact that he might just not be in control of his feelings towards damini if it happens,
he will politely refuse, saying probably he does care for etc., but she deserves better than a BG.and will go into detail of it merely just to buy time and he will say Dams should be consulted etc. etc....
He will phrase it in such a way that gives the impresion to Ila that he does indeed have feelings for her and it is the status thing that is stopping him pursuing furhter...
Maybe Damini hears him refusing the proposal but may be she wont hear him explain it further, so she will storm off..
That may be explains why she was so angry there...
Pri will realize that if it was not for the revenge thing, he would have seriously pursued damini too, that is something we have never seen prithvi do...
As for Dam as i said maybe she heard the part of the convo the refusal part or she gets on the defensive as is expected also cos she has been worried about prithvi getting any other impression of late...
Dams is hurt cos of his refusal and also cos she is still not over the fact of his sudden stupid behaviour that night...
She will refuse atleast for the moment...
I Did note that from the promo she did not say SHE DID NOT LIKE PRITHVI, but just that she does not want marriage now... understandable cos in the Gujaral mansion she is the only one who knows him closely and she is confused about his feelings towards her too....
And obviously Prithvi will hear it and he will be sorta disappointed too...
U know i wanted something like this to happen during the press conference itself...
A proposal like this will force PRIDA to acknowledge and sort out the feelings they have for each other....
So yes there will be more awkwardness, stubbornness cos each refused the other but also the growing realization that there is definitely much more...😳
Also as per the original track, marriage happens...
The advantage of an engagement or a marriage is that if damini finds out the truth now, she will simply fire him and shut him out of his life...
An engagement or marriage will bond them in a relationship during which both will genuinely fall for each other and realize it too, but maybe not acknowledge it to each other..
So if after the engagement or marriage the truth comes out, they will also realize that their love for each other completely overshadows the revenge thing and they both will try to fight for their relationship and also get to the truth about balraaj's death...
OMG, this really turned out to be one long reply....But either way we will finally have our old PRIDA back and more importantly their story will be back on track...
