I want to know you all's opinion! Is age really just a number when falling in love? Like it is really fine for a girl and a boy to be together when the girl is five years older than the guy or when the guy is ten years older than the girl? Does age make a difference in maturity level and relationship progression? I mean each person is at different points and stages in their life, so do these relationships work? Is it better to be with someone around your age or is love really blind?

I'm just curious....only friendly discussion! It's my first time posting a topic here. 😃

a very nice question..👏. I think age is not only the number it is also a sign of maturity... Yeah, for me it is very important having same ages for two persons for the relationship..😊. but as well as I saw many couples having a age difference of 5-6 years and passing their lifz happily..😍. Well, can't say anything abt love that it is blind or not... cuz i never fall in love... â˜ș...

When it comes to love, age really does not matter. Even a big discrepancy of age would not matter when friendship, relationship and of course love have already matured and bloomed to the most noblest of intentions.

Yes,I would say that nothing much matters as far as concerned with falling in love. But practically if you see having much age diffrence means there is a gap between thinking or should I say ideology of a person(probably). For falling in love,or loving someone you have to have better understanding level, which in much cases doesnt works when age diffrence is of like 10 years.
But age diffrence of like6-7 years doesnt really matters this I have seen.
Moreover couples with much age diffrence are somewhat insecure of each outher at one point or outher(my POV).

Does age make a difference in maturity level and relationship progression?
As I said when diffrence is too large there are ideological diffrences but not like in maturity level.
Like you cant say that a person at 28 is less mature than a person at 32 or 34.

is love really blind?
No,dear.Love aint blind but the lovers are.😉😆

Moreover one cant really be sure in these things. No answer can be termed as perfect here. And as far as love is concerned there is nothing like a "FACT".Everything differs from person to person.

But as I always add...😆...Love is starnge and complicates thongs. You just cant understand it,its to be felt.

P.S-You just cant guess a person's age from anything, even if talking here of forum.
LOL...For as sometimes my family and friends say that sometimes I talk like someone 10 yr older than I really am.😆😛No way,its just how I am.😉

Thanks everyone for taking the time out and responding!! I'm glad to see that there are so many open-minded people on the forum!

My real curiousity though was to see if people think it's okay for the girl to be older than the guy! I personally think, if both sides are truly in love, then it's doesn't matter! If the relationship is for other reasons, then it might not be so good! Same goes for younger ladies being with way older men.

hmm.. age isnt just a number but its something more. It could be true that in love, age doesnt matter. In reality, its true that most women are more mature than men of same age group. Maybe that's why women go for older guys while older guys go for younger women.

Therefore, In love, age also plays a major role to some extent, but what matters more is how mature the person is and how well they can handle tough situations.

yeah, typically women do go for older guys, but i just was saying that b/c i'm noticing how nowadays women are dating and even getting married to younger guys! but yeah, maturity levels also does influence the success of the relationship!
