Here Is The Update For 5th June, 2 0 0 8, L R L Episode.
Episode begins with the usual Recaps :-
Episode Kicks starts with the repainting of the walls. Purvi arrives still worried over Rummy. Akrithi climbs down from her perch, atop the ladder and says that but for Rummy, she and the rest would not be in this position, nor have had to be reprimanded by Major Vaibhavi. And Rummy is not to be seen, probably he is trying to escape from work. Further Advises Purvi to help them finish the work and forget Rummy.
Sameera also tries her best to get Akrithi see the point, And Akrithi turns round and takes a step in Sameera's direction, Sameera caution's her but Akrithi stumbles on a bucket and falls flat into another bucket of paint, needless to say, Akrithi's face gets painted.
Gunny in his cabin and still in reflective mood, and then calls up the records department and requests a file on S D. But protocols and procedures are sought. In a rare sense of desperation Gunny uses Major General's name and authority, gets his required work done. Further Gunny tells the person on the other end to ensure that the dossier is delivered to Captain Gunraj Randhawa.
Back with the girls, Sameera takes the note from Purvi and asserts that note was not written by Rummy, as she had seen Rummy's handwriting and it was not very pretty. Sameera further adds that probably Markhand penned a poem and not finding an appropriate word could have thrown the paper away.
Akrithi takes the paper and says that writing is not of Markhand rather and starts to say of the poem penned for her by Markhand but holds back.
Inside Major Vaibhavi's Room, Major Vaibhavi is on the Ironing board and is joined by Gunny, who offers help and the Major declines the offer, as she likes to press her own clothes.
Gunny then seeks some clarifications, that If someone impersonates some higher officer what would be the punishment, Major says that officer would be suspended. Gunny further asks if the job required to be done over the telephone, Major Vaibhavi earnestly says that nothing as the case will need proof. A relieved Gunny says that since to avoid the cumbersome procedure and protocol he had used the Major General's name and unwittingly lets the cat out of the back. Major Vaibhavi appeared shocked.
In between Major Vaibhavi's clothes get burnt.
Scene reverts back to the girl trio. When Sameera and Purvi see Akrithi's appearance, they burst into to laughter. An embarrassed Akrithi gets some more paint and applies it on Sameera first and then on Purvi. At this point the girls get into the mood of applying paint on each other.
Major Vaibhavi tells him in the absence of Major General Gaur, Gunny crossed the limits and this will be serious, Gunny then points out some discrepancies in S D' statements and dossier, the photographs, and her use of her hands, the mentioned in the dossier did not match with the person who was in their custody.
Still Major Vaibhavi, though convinced, raises questions on Udai disappearance and his inability to recapture Udai.
Gunny, with little options, recounts the sequence of events and in the light of getting to the "Eagle" he had sought Co-operation with Udai and let him go. This was in flashback.
Back with the girls, they are in dancing mood and the other trio of Vidya, Peter and Markhand arrive and later they too get painted. Further Akrithi gets dizzy with dancing and lands up in the arms of Abhimanyu. In the processes ruins Abhimanyu's black shirt, with a dash of paint. Akrithi apologizes and Abhimanyu says that is not necessary as he is not in uniform, otherwise punishment is inevitable. But Again a chorus of "Sorry Sir" is heard and Abhimanyu says that now they deserved punishment and proceeds to paint each one's face with different colours and designs.
Purvi thinks Abhimanyu is in love and that too with S D. Markhand thinks the jungle god is angry because his article "Hanuman" or some other deity is missing, Peter's face goes funny. Akrithi thinks that Abhimanyu has lost his balance.
Back with the Major and the Captain. Major Vaibhavi, suggests some thing that officially she never suggested. That since Major General is away and she is the authorized to sign any document or any papers, that Gunny's papers would be signed and Gunny would be able to proceed on his job of tracking " Eagle".
Gunny accepts the suggestion, clicks his heels to signify his respect and leaves.
But not before Major Vaibhavi clinches the deal with Gunny having to present her with a new pair of uniform trousers. In place of her ruined trouser.
Later an Army Official comes over to hand a package to Gunny in his cabin, and the official seeks Major General signature on the recipient's column. Gunny tells him the Major General is out and Major Vaibhavi would sign instead.
Major Vaibhavi asks Gunny and the official to wait outside and she would do the needful.
Later Major Vaibhavi comes out and hands over the paper. The official sees it and says it is highly irregular, but Gunny gives a satisfactory answer and sends the official on his way.
The official passes the funny looking cadets painting the wall and walks away. But not before making a funny face himself.
At Some Point Major Vaibhavi Sees the Plight of the six cadets and reprimands them. That They did not respect their uniform Did not act responsibly and in one sense showed disrespect to their Country. And when they did not do so, when they retire from service the act will haunt them forever, when they look back on their career.
In his cabin, Gunny opens the packet and reads. Again Gunny is into recollection mode and flashbacks of S D are shown, all in black and white.
Episode ends again with a thoughtful and pensive looking Gunny.
