One channel called it a 90- minute trip and had foreign experts analyse the event; an animated version of the flight was played. One channel played very Sholay-esque music (the kitne aadmi the track) against close-ups of Sharif, the plane and the ten- sion in Pakistan. Another tried to dissect the reason behind his arrival. The guy impersonating Udit Narayan had a permanent glassy smile, the Anu Malik look-alike kept protest- ing while Javed Akhtar Part 2 spouted shayari complete with lisp. One of them escapes and search parties are on. But there is an unnecessary comic ele- ment in this serious scenario.
