How did the jeep blasted when raj was driving?Did those goons threw bomb on the jeep or it was an accident?

if any bomb was thrown to the jeep,there was no possibility to escape for Raj.As no dead body had found,probably raj has escaped.As Rajveer is the best and experienced captain,he felt something uncanny what might be happen with his cadets.so to rescue he took their jeep and begore explotion he escaped.
