That is a much needed post dii, I think everybody has to think million times before giving anyone even a word.... World is not without danger, I am sure ke u almost old members here had heard about Garima, and her story, so I think we all have to take this as a lesson....

dii i completely agree with you... we should never be so close to people whom we feel are faking... and garima was one of them... even today when i think about garima's incident it pinches my heart... though i have moved on i can never let go that incident n me sure nobody who knew garima ever can... we will surely be careful dii thanks for the advice...

di i totally agree wth u..we should not believe anbody blindly and shouldnt gv personnal info...becoz when u hurt only that person can feel the pain..others can only gv him/her hosla

all i want to say is that one must be extreamly cautious abt what one posts or gets involved with on the net....
i want to share an incident that happened with a classmate.....through the internet this young girl ..of hardly 13 ...got involved with an older man...and their chat transcript ...which was explicitly obsene was read out in front of all the parents at a PTA meeting. the girl not only was rusticated but later it was also revealed that this man was a cheat who had lured her with the false promise of marriage.
friends its very imp to limit what personal information u share on the net.....because even though most of the ppl here on IF are lovely ppl....u never know when some of these troublesome elements might take advantage of this info....its better to be safe than sorry.
cyber crime is a burning problem faced by our society today and i think that the work done by the DEV-TEAM is applaudable, to say the least...!!!
