First of all sryyyy…I m late.Actually I wanted to give dis rite after d last epi of season 1 bt mera PC was not working.Bt ne-ways I m here now.
Every1 in LRL kept re-inventing their look but let's see who all managed to maintain their style quotient:
Rajveer : Undoubtedly he is the most stylish char of LRL. Tho I usually wonder ki wen all the Faculty members are supposed to wear uniforms then how come deputed officers have the luxury to sport their own designer stuffs. But then who's complaining??
Raj ka initial style was simple semi-formals but later on it changed to hot casuals and so informally formal. He wore all trendy and hip outfits. Smart casuals, cargo, trendy blazer with vests, formal suits.... he tried almost everything out but with grace and style and managed to increase his female fan following almost on an everyday basis.
FLIPSIDE:His designer forgot to keep track of seasons while designing his wardrobe. He wore pullover in the very first scene where he walks inside academy which happened to be during summer. While he conveniently roamed around in vest and usual jackets during winters.
UPSIDE: All of his jackets were sexy. He looked extremely hott in vests and his smile is mind-blowing and together with his wink it made a killer combo. All of his accessories were cool.
BESTEST LOOK: Hmmmmm.....good question!! But answering this with so much precision is just next to impossible. I think I'll play safe by saying....Raj in uniform or may be Raj in towel😆....hehehehe.....J/K.
STYLE MANTRA: Stay in style and keep it sexy!!!
Ritu: Well Ritu ki entry was like woooww....typically Sushmita Sen of Main hoon na style. She was always there looking oh-so-sexy in that amazing sari. Her make up was just perfect. Her hairdo complimented her look so well all the time. Her sense of style was actually worth talking about but one fine day she exhausted her stock of cosmetics she had piled up somewhere. The color of her saris faded in the sun and v had a brand new Ritu in an altogether new suddenly de-glamorized avatar.
FLIPSIDE: Well it has to be her sudden de-glamorized look. She looked the same all the time once she fell in love (Strange isn't it?). May b she was more focused on her mission than her looks.
UPSIDE: Her initial days in LRL, beyond any doubt. Besides she has a figure to die for. So whether she wore a sari or her tracksuit she flaunted it just perfectly. And thankfully she broke the norms of being a telly vamp by cutting short on her make-up.
BESTEST LOOK: $get all her sarees……Black vest & combat pants….she luukd damn hootttt during d last 2 epis. {I won't count her freshers ball avatar here. She looked like she was attending some wedding function. Sorry if any1 disagrees with me on that.}
STYLE MANTRA: Six yards of elegance, what else!!
Alekh: Before I say ne-thing here's a disclaimer. This particular review might not be that correct. It is prone to biases. 😉But ne-ways lets see. He started out with that so repetitive vest-jeans/pyjamas look. Suddenly he received a whole cool fresh stock of clothes. He became stylish overnite and rocked the show. He tried out three-quarter pants, Tees, Kurta, jackets and how can I 4get Suit. The one thing that added to his style and made him a hot property was his smile and killer wink. This might sound like inspired from apne Rajveer sir but ever since he had stopped winking at Naina Alekh has taken over and he is doing good with that.
FLIPSIDE: Hard to find one but I think those three-quarter pants didn't suit him so much. Bt then he has already given up that. Right?
UPSIDE: After his smile and wink it has to be his stubble. He looks better with that. Apart from that Bole toh, his tapori lingo.....Even super-duper stylish people like Raj and Huda ishtyyyle marne k liye apne Bittu ki lingo copy karte hain!!
BESTEST LOOK: His sophisticated avatar in fresher's ball, being a girl how can I stop raving about that.
STYLE MANTRA: Keep it simple.
Naina: Well this girl has been so stylish from the very moment she stepped in the academy. Be it her usual sporty look or the rare ultra feminine look, she rocked in all of them. Her style changed from Crop Jackets to normal jackets from sexy dress to hot skirts but she maintained her basics i.e. her halter necks and graceful appearance. She maintained a very 'in' sort of a look for herself.
FLIPSIDE: After showing her stylish persona her Kurta and Patiala/semi-Patiala looked so-not-her style. Though she didn't look bad but that was definitely not a plus point.
UPSIDE: She knos how to dress for the occasion. Her make up was sober and accessories strictly to the most required ones. She perfectly flaunted her bare back in her sexy halters. But still she never went over the top with her look. Not to 4get she reserved her best look, one with open hair only for chosen occasions.
BESTEST LOOK: She looked ravishing with open hair. I guess her wet hair look during camping was the bestest. Besides her recent RR engagement party look. She did an intresting mix n match with colors. {I m excluding Freshers ball bcoz it was all red and in the prescribed code tho she did luk hot!!!}
STYLE MANTRA: Hot and happening.
Huda: Rajveer ke baad the second most stylish guy in KMA. He has always been concerned about his looks. Kya karein...personality hi aisi hai Huda ki!!! Ne-ways his attitude was an integral part of his style. His initial hairdo was cool but later as Swathi once pointed out it looked like he was given an electric shock. He flaunted mainly flamboyant shades and of course his perfectly toned abs and muscles. He was shown bare chested so many times.
FLIPSIDE: I think his hair that was cut short. And also the scarf that he wore around his neck in fresher's ball. Rest was fine.
UPSIDE: His attitude to carry off any thing and everything and of course his looks.
BESTEST LOOK: Though I m very confused for this segment, I think Huda in suit...It adds grace to his flamboyant style.
STYLE MANTRA: If you have it, flaunt it.
Pooja: I have to start it with loads of nice words for her straight hair. That suits her just perfectly. Nothing like that. She kept her look feminine and a bit conservative. She sported halters but they were not so revealing ones. She kept it simple and sober with kurta-jeans/capri look. She wore traditional outfits on a couple of occasions. Rather than style she opted for simplicity in her looks. Later on she did add track suits in her wardrobe. But even that was feminine than tomboyish. And the best thing she kept her hair open after her classes.
FLIPSIDE: She changed her French Pony style for a while after getting her hairs straitened but didn't switch back to it when she got her hair straightened the second time L. Besides scarf she wrapped around her wrist in freshers ball was just not required.
UPSIDE: Her straight hairs, hands down.
BESTEST LOOK: I think it was her Diwali party look. She looked sizzling even in that simple traditional outfit.
STYLE MANTRA: The greatest beauty lies in simplicity.
Ali: Ali's style was classy and elegant. I don't remember hving seen him wearing a casual shirt {bt that may b bcoz of my bad memory}. His dressing was mostly formal clothes and nice subtle shades but gradually he shifted to some really flashy shades. But he carried them off very elegantly. He looked cuuute and dashing. His hairdo compliments his cute looks very well.
FLIPSIDE: I wonder y is he so averse to wearing more casual stuff.
UPSIDE: While the others in LRL keep in mind the style factor he creates his own with his sheer elegance.
BESTEST LOOK: How about his Band gala in freshers Ball. Tho its something more apt for a bit elderly age groups but still he looked cool.
STYLE MANTRA: Subtle and sober...that's the way I like.
Yudi: Honestly I can't describe. This guy himself don't have his style fundas clear to mujhe kahan se samajh mein aayega. An honest confession-his style is beyond me. But lemme try. Yudi boy has a very casual style . Simple tees, normal shirts.... in short something that you can see every second guy like. But the tattoo on his arm is one thing that attributes to his personal style. His style is very much like himself...confusing!!! And I have to mention this... he is the fav of the makers when it comes to a stripping!!Yuckkk!!
FLIPSIDE: He needs some serious lessons in styling. Besides he needs to excuse his head band in occasions like party.
UPSIDE: His suits are stylish. But still can't qualify to b the USP of his style. But I think he looks cute in three-fourth pants.
BESTEST LOOK: Yudi as Madonna. Both his outfits as Madonna were cool and suited him well. He's a cuute gal...isn't it?😉
STYLE MANTRA: Well.....something-something!!!
Shalini: She is the only faculty member who doesn't mind wearing clothes that are shorter than that of the cadets. She is cuute and has a figure that compliments any of her clothes. She is mostly clad in her uniforms. Initially she used to wear halters, corsets and the kinds but of late her style has changed to simplest outfits i.e. Jeans and Shirts. Her dressing is oftenly quite surprising. Her short dress in freshers ball or recently that shirt in RR engagement party.
FLIPSIDE: Her hair rolled up in a weird way mostly with her night suits which looks quite similar to Preity Zinta's in KHNH. Besides why can't she unbutton her topmost collar button of her uniform?
UPSIDE: She looks much better with her hair left open. And the other prominent thing about her is that she is always smiling. Besides her make-up is always perfect.
BESTEST LOOK: Her Diwali party outfit was wooowww. She looked quite cuute and at the same time very hooottt!!
STYLE MANTRA: I m what I m.
Intrestingly last 2 weeks, stylewise, saw a few U-Turns.Raj kept aside his cool Jackets & hot vests.Alekh rediscovered his luv for his vests.Naina wore d same kurta religiously every nite dat also sadly happened to b d yuckiest one of dem all.Ritu rcvd a make-up kit frm Raj as her engagement gift.Rite frm d mrning after d En party her make-up was back & her sarees look much better.
So people this was my opinion on the changing styles of LRL chars. I have excluded BC, Lolita and Suriji bcoz there isn't anything about them to talk about. But I want you guys to match the style quotient of these chars with each others and the results are interesting. Have a look at the similarities:
Rajveer- Naina~~~~~~ the ultra stylish guy and girl of KMA.
Ali-Pooja ~~~~~~ the most simple guy and girl in KMA.
Yudi-Shalini ~~~~~~ style wise, the most complicated ones in KMA.
So guys that is it from me. I know yeh thoda zyada lamba ho gaya so kindly adjust. 😉 So I m looking fwd to your comments on my review and your personal opinions as well.
