Tony singh of DJ's creative team is all set to produce and direct his first film with Rajeev Khandelwal.It will also be Rajeev's debut film.Tony is currently working on the script of romantic-thriller, the name of which is undecided. The shooting will start after Diwali.

"I am working on several ideas, primarily a romantic subject. The film is going to be a conventional love story as seen in Rajesh Khanna;s films, but set in today's times. After we pen the story, we'll decide the cast," said Tony when asked about the film.

And how diid he zero in on Rajeev? "Rajeev is a brand today and someday somebodywould definitely launch him, so I though why not me. We are like-minded people and share a great rapport. It will be good to work with him. I think the synergy we share will work for us," he said.

According to Tony, "Rajeev and I belong to TV so we know the value of money very well. We have a budget of Rs. 6 crore for the film and Rajeev has saleability. If you are selling your product at Rs.6 and you have spent Rs.10 on it then the deal is useless. It's a fair deal only if you are spending Rs.8 on it and selling it at Rs.10."

Asked about the film, Rajeev said,"I have a romantic image, so my first film had to be romantic. I share a good rapport with both Deeya and Tony and I would surely love to work with them."
