Chunkey Pandey came to flag off the cars in the morning and engaged in teasing banter with the female drivers. Ashmit Patel, Narendra Jha of Ravan fame and Deveika Bhojwani, vice president of the Women's Cancer Initiative, Tata Memorial Hospital, were also there. RJ Mallishka was MC for the event.
Participants included Shveta Salve, Sathya Saran, Nisha Harale, Malvika Sanghvi and cancer survivor Dr Ritu Jospeh.
Out of the 181 cars that left Mumbai in the morning, almost 116 successfully completed the race, while 179 covered the entire distance and returned to Mumbai in the evening.
The final winners were handed over their prizes on Sunday evening at a party held at the Bandra club Poison.
