The actress is balancing her time between serials and dance rehearsals

Shweta Salve could not have been busier at this point of her career. She is balancing her time with two soaps on air right now and her innumerable dance rehearsals. "I have been working very hard for the last two months. My producers, Tony-Deeya Singh and Manish Goswami, of Left Right Left and Kittu Sab Janti Hai have been very co-operative. Without their co-operation, I do not think I would have been able to balance my schedules."

She pauses. "Jitna milta hai ussmein khush rehne ki adaadat hai. Everything I'm today, I owe it to television. I'm a horrible planner. I never planned to be on television. Today I'm here tomorrow, who knows?"

While on television, Shweta's dancing skill has come to the forefront with Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. "Obviously people couldn't have known about my dancing skills because one doesn't get an opportunity to dance in soaps. I'm not saying I'm a trained dancer. But I do sway to occasional tunes. But this dance show has given me a great break to show my dancing skills," Shweta says.

Elaborating on her dancing prowess, Shweta says, "Dancing is like cooking or dressing up. You either know how to do it or you don't. I'm also able to hit the right notes in singing. My mom calls me Jack of all trades. But acting is one skill which brings out all my smaller skills."

Why has she not turned to Bollywood so far? "I don't know anyone in the film industry," she says. "If I get an opportunity, then I will act in films. I'm the only person from my family to enter the entertainment industry. I'm just hoping that someone from the film industry sees me dancing and signs me for a film. I'd rather do my work and wait for it to pay off. I'm a great believer in destiny," she says.

Thanks. She is the best dancer on JDJ, i really hope she wins and she is really hardworking. I can see her trying her best to impress the judges as her step in the door to bollywood, SLB seems keen to sign her on.
She is definately not one to shy away from praising herself, but she is really talented. I'd say her dancing impressed me more then her acting.
