I tell you one thing... in metropolitan cities people dont have time for themselves .. so whatever little time they get ... they watch some typical shows of their interest. They dont experiment.

Now in rest of the country ... people dont want to experiment... otherwise the shows with some diff themes could have been super duper hit. For Deeya and Tony singh ... they have only one hit prog in their kitty ...and that was Jassi ... because there was some glamour ... attached to it.

Banegi apni baat was hit b coz that was one of the few soaps those days when the era was not estabilished ... and bcoz that was youth oriented show,.. first of its own kind.. people watched that ... but still that was not as successful as was Mahabharat or Ramayan.

I completely agree. People dont want to start watching new serial and stick to their old one. And people also get addicted to the serial they are watching. It takes time for a serial to catch up with trp.

And I also think that there is a some problem in calculating the TRPs too.

DO anyone of you know how the data are gathered?

I hope 9:30 slot is okay .

Rajeev's presence in the show will definately give a boost to the trps of the show but the content and treatment of the show itself will be the biggest factor in generating good trps, so we can only hope that the show is a good one...

Rajeevians will surely watch it for Rajeev but those daily soap audiences will want something of gr8 interest to hold them to the show

We should work together as a team... 😉
