'Rules of Upbringing'
Sonali says that Trisha may be playing a prank with them. Prateek yells at her for saying that. Amrita tells them to stop arguing & disagrees with Sonali.
The next morning, Lavanya discovers that Kushan hasn't returned home. She panics & checks her phone. She's relieved after reading Kushan's text message asking her not to disturb him & that he'll be back by evening. Meghan walks in with a bottle of sleeping pills & tells Lavanya that she's going to consume them all as she insulted her boy friend. She blackmails Lavanya into promising her that she won't be interfering in her life. Lavanya accepts & promises her the same.
At Kabir's office, Abhay wonders why Trisha ordered Saniya's gift 3 months before her birthday. Kabir replies that there are 2 possibilities to this- either Trisha didn't know she'll be kidnapped, or she knew it very well that she won't be able to make it to the party. He recalls how Prem had left the birthday party before Trisha's gift arrived.
Amrita checks Trisha's tablet (computer) to find the link to her online personal diary (blog) that Saniya had told her about. She calls Kabir & tells her about it too and also informs him that she couldn't locate the blog's address anywhere. Kabir reassures her & tells her that they can use professional hackers to access it.
In the afternoon, Saniya unwraps her gifts from the party. She shows Amrita a dress which Vivaan gifted her & a comic book from Bobby. She also shows her a make-up kit from Meghan. Amrita tells her that she can use it only when she grows up. Saniya agrees & proceeds to show her Kabir's gift which is a simple paper-plane, that she believes will magically convert into a real airplane when she turns 18. Next, she unwraps Sonali's gift which is a computer tablet. Sonali walks in & asks Saniya if she liked it. Amrita tells her that kids often demand for such things but it's not necessary to fulfil all of their wishes. Sonali taunts her back saying that she must be the only one who knows how to raise obedient kids like Trisha & Saniya. She also tells Amrita she's free to throw the tablet in the dustbin as she's not taking the gift back from Saniya. Amrita requests Saniya to give her the tablet as she's too young to use it. Saniya doesn't comply & runs off to Prateek to complain about Amrita. Mala (the nanny) takes Saniya away. Prateek tells Amrita that Saniya will get whatever she demands as she's a 'Swaika' & that Amrita shouldn't harbor such "middle-class" mindset while raising his kids. Amrita remains adamant & tells him that she wants to provide a healthy upbringing to their kids & not repeat the same mistakes that they did while raising Trisha. Amrita goes to Saniya & instructs her that she'll be using the tablet only at her school. At home, she'll be playing only board games with her mother. Saniya agrees. Prateek watches this & tells Amrita that he won't let her win & influence Saniya with that miserly attitude. She's left stunned at how Prateek fails to understand her opinion on their kids' proper upbringing. Sonali overhears them arguing & grins when Prateek insults Amrita.
Back at Swaikas' office, Prateek & his important clients wait impatiently for Kushan to arrive. Prateek tries to defend him by saying that the meeting was scheduled at the last minute & that's why Kushan is running late. He tries to call Kushan but his phone is switched off.
At the secluded bungalow, Trisha is seen crying on the sofa. A man walks in (couldn't see his face but looked like Kushan's silhouette..IDK :P).
Precap: Prem tries to kiss Lavanya but she pushes him away. He falls to the ground & looks up to see Prateek staring back at him.
Trisha argues with the kidnapper saying that he didn't allow her to go to Saniya's party. He gives her the photographs from the birthday party & Trisha looks at them fondly.
