Started watching with trepidation-as Tamas for me is the benchmark when it comes to partition drama's ,and hinjabi-the weird mixture of Hindi and Punjabi that serials use does my head in.
Have watched 2 epi's and it is Sooraj Barjatya meets partition.
Not liking the broader picture being painted -the nice vegetarian peace loving Hindustanis winning over the aggressive Muslims and the conniving British-having said that it was still fun to see the britisher with his face covered in mud.
Will continue watching though as still like the individual characterizations -the Bhardwaj clan,Lajwanti's brother-Nika.
It also helps that the male lead has that elusive thing called charisma.
