Meenu you are right....but look at how many serials they show women in submissive roles...
Look at AJMBNK Laali is sold by her own parents....Father could not earn enough money but had time to pop 4 kids...than he sells his own daughter to thakur b/c they did not have enough money for Laali's gauna...than they push their second daughter to marry same dude Laali was supposed to marry 😡 🤢
GKLB suryakant married 2 women b/c his baa and him both wanted a son....he already had 4 daughters who he did not value....Well son does the same....marries 2 women one who was prostitute...I just don't understand this day and age why they making serials which are down right an insult to womanhood....and why are women even accepting to play those roles...
Pooja is doing everything what her sanskars tells her to do but there is a limit to taking the verbal, mental and physical abuse...How she does not want to share her pain and hurt with her own mom b/c she does not want to add to her problems....
So sad 😒

in this show they dont take the same approach as others. in another show the heroine ie geeti might have married jassi and then realized that he wasnt a good guy etc etc.
but in LS approach is different...nanda was shown to be a protective mom who keeps warning her daughter to stay away from jassi as he is way out of their leave. thats why nanda more or less readily agreed for the nss camp(something which she herself had attended) but used to be unwilling to give permission for jassi's parties.
