I agree with your analysis...the show itself has some really bad production values...the editing is TERRIBLE...they've patched the scenes together in a rush...they were racing through half the scenes today and I couldn't tell what was happening.

Only thing that did register on me was the MAGNETISM of MR which has not dimmed one bit in all this time...it shines brighter if anything else...he looked AMAZING...the style, the AURA of the man is as unmatched as ever...in one bit when he put his foot on the wheel of the jeep just before they were about to arrest that guy, I was reminded of the time of Dutta's entry and when him and Baaji were giving a ride to Nakku and her family in their jeep and they stopped at a dhaaba...lol


MR got everything in this epi...a stern look, action sequences (two of them...he beat up one abusive husband and then that underworld don guy...lol), a scene with his MOTHER...lol, a romantic scene asking a girl out for a date...lol...tashan bhi poora in his dialogues...no nonsense cop.

And the icing on the cake...he's in a lawyer look in the precap😆...Now even if the Nikhil Advani movie takes a while to air, we've got our fill of MR in uniforms...lol


I don't have much hope from the actual story...but MR's screen presence made up for it...Looking forward to two more epis of him...lol

The show being aired on Sony I was expecting Crime Patrol like finesses but then that hope was dashed by the debut episode itself. I was watching it with dread preparing to cringe but have to say there was a marked improvement from last week's fare. The dialogues could have been crisp & the bad guys need not have been so clownish & theatrical. And crime shows must always pay attention to editing. Half the story's tautness is maintained through fast & edgy screenplay. But this went on like a soap.

But Mishal as always made it a worthy watch. I am glad he did his best to tone down the intensity we are used to from him. This role did not need it & thankfully he understood it. It was measured and subdued at the beginning of the story. He was a dutiful & committed cop and knew to keep a professional distance. But as the story progressed and the personal stakes got higher his aggressive stance escalated gradually. Only an actor of his mettle could have portrayed this so convincingly.

And needless to add the man is an eye candy in the truest sense. I would not tire of seeing him even if he played a tree in a show😆

If you would watch last week's episode this week's was award worthy. Primarily because of Prashant and Mishal. Prasanth because though he was a sanki guy he didnt overdo it...and Mishal ofcourse for his magnetism...and acting wise he didnt falter. The narrative was better this week and wasnt confusing like last week's. Overall I liked the episode and am looking forward to the next two for Mishal and Prasanth. Mishal looked yummy throughout...in whatever he was wearing. Whether in the uniform or in plain clothes.

@bold; so rightly said...his assessment of the requirements of a character as an actor, never fails to impress me. There were high chances of DSP replayed, and we couldn't have complained even, as a cop and a criminal has many common features,but maintained the thin difference between DSP and Nitin Kamte
