Interesting peek into Dutta and Anay's back grounds trauma ridden.. seems to me Dutta has loved ones walking out of his life for whatever reason.. natural causes or plain emotionally falling out with someone.. all this has made him emotionally in secure... and Annay is so to speak his security blanket which he cannot do without..

Such is his attention for Annay that Dutta wants the boy before his eyes twenty four seven.. whether it's the boy's academic side or entertainment side.. all has to revolve around his presence.

It's a pity Dutta cannot see the value ofAnnay interacting with peers, sharing learning situations, growing up with a healthy positive competitive spirit, participating in sports with age appropriate peers.. [he does later in the park at cricket and is brilliant, and hence gets a high!] That will have an influence on Annay as he is at an impressionable age.. home tutoring is one to one learning and Dutta by keep him off school , is denying Annay the people's skill of working together with others.. and also in school in later years, as a he will need to learn and understand time management.. of course at home too he is taught how to manage time.. by his uncle.. when he's around otherwise it's the servants.

Of course Dutta's anxiety is his own trade where the boy can be kidnapped as a blow against Dutta by his foes.. however Dutta needs to recognize that the boy needs company of his own age , not some adult company all the time.

Ohhh good Naku has at least made Dutta evaluate how he is bringing up his nephew.. Dutta sees Annay sleeping peacefully .. seems Annay too doesn't mind adult company.. hummm.

It's a good thing Dutta has another person i.e Naku, to keep a tab on his nightly restless nightmares bouts.. these scenes are surrounded by mystery .. both Naku and the readers want to know what is the cause of Dutta's repeated nocturnal disturbances.

Dutta is full on battering himself for some woman walking out of his life..

So both Dutta and Naku have emotional baggage .. but perhaps its to early to share it with each other and feel lighter..

Naku..and Dutta are first beginning to accept each other's existence in their lives...

Things certainly seem to be easing between them. The picnic scene was beautifully penned, and the refreshing outdoors certainly lent itself to arouse sheer joy and bonding between the three..

Dutta can see now that Nakusha is like a breath of fresh air not just in Annay's life but possibly his life to...Thanks for yet another brilliant chapter Rosie, enjoyed it.. please continue much love hammie.

Awesome ud...morning after nightmare still no light ...dutta & naku are caught in vicious cylcle of past...interested to know it...soothing effect is anay for both...doing small thing together be it boat sailing or cricket...good turn in story...ud soon😊
