LTL Written Update

Episode ~4

31^st December 2009

Naku's home

Episode begins with Ganpat reiterating again to Naku, you tell me when people laugh at your face should it make a difference to me?. Babi diverts his attention and bids him to eat his food. He pushes the plate away and says I am full up now listening to all your cussing, however gets some darru .. or water. Babi complains all I am to you is a servant at your beck and call! Naku, caringly brings food for her mother and says today I am going to feed my Aye. To this Ganapat chips in, sure feed her ,so she builds up strength to complain to her Ganpati about this Ganpat!. Babi glares at him and calls out yes Bhagwan please save me from this man !get rid of him! Ganpat chuckles and says hailee ! if you get rid of me than in whose name will you apply the vermillion in your parting? He laughs hysterically and Babi snubs him, what use is this kum kum? the rate at which you guzzle booze you won't be around for much longer! besides I am no Savitri that will step forth and save you from Yamraj! you want to die! then go ahead! Babi shouts angrily at her husband and leaves the room in a huff still yelling, and Naku meanwhile, continues to pacify her mother but her rowdy ranting goes on..

Sethji lying on his back on the floor before the telly, pulls out cotton wool from his pocket and stuffs his ears to drown his mothers banters! he whistles at his father offering him some too, but demands money for a small amount of stuffing. Ganpat agrees and hurls a coin at his son for the cotton wool that he too stuffs in his ears to get respite from Babi's voice! Naku calms her mother.. and final the squabble ends as the day ends..

New Day In the Basti

Day begins with Babi's fervent worship. Naku informs her she is leaving for work. Babi orders her to pack her job in! if it means she has to work alongside that witch Sangeeta who introduced her to the brat photographer Champuk!.Naku looks worried and says how can I just stop work. Ganpat adds bitterly leave your job Naku, do as this Hitler says. But Naku reasons with her mother, that you working alone will not do for the running of this household, you need me working too..at least with the two of us working we can have two decent meals.. Babi dwells on her daughters words. Ganpat says if only you had stopped the older one from leaving, today none of us would have had to work! we would get good food plus imported liquor!..both Naku and Babi look disturbed at Ganpats chilling words...

Sirens are heard..

Morey's entry

One white police car with stripes and a big black police van with sirens blaring weaves into the streets of the basti. Inside Babi's house the bickering regarding darru continues. Sethhji runs into the house and shuts the door, announces that the police has arrived in our basti! All freeze and look terribly worried. The police car out side finally stops at a central point. Amidst sirens the police car door opens and a police officer dressed in khaki uniform steps out, wipes the back of his neck ,dons his police peak cap, walks in attitude with his police stick. His junior spreads a handkerchief on the bonnet of the white police car , and the officer heaves himself and sits on the bonnet and rolls his stick on his loins.His name badge reads M.Morey Then he cleans his ray bans, while one of his policeman enquires from Sethji's older boy friend which one is Babi's kholi? the boy jokes why did she give you the beats too! the police constable is about to clobber him when Morey beckons the boy towards him then slaps him across the face and the boy points out Babi's kholi..

The constable interrupts but Saab that one is Ganpats kholi.. Morey asks who?. The policeman briefs Morey that I picked him up two months ago, he's a petty thief, but he makes fantastic Darru, if you ask me lets book him instead of this Babi, at least we get to taste some new booze every day!..

Morey yellsss GANPAT! and his voice resounds as inside Babi's house every face looks horror struck! Babi confronts her husband police? have you done something? and Ganpat ignores her and steps out his house.

The whole neighbour hood is gathered outside to check out the action.. slowly Ganpat advances towards Morey who is perched on his car bonnet. He stares at Ganpat, shoves his stick near Ganpat's belly and pulls him closer, and asks him ..so you the don of this area? along with your wife you have formed a new gang hain? and he sings main hoon Don.. and twists Ganpats ear main hoon don!and Morey bends his head backwards and forward .. mein hoon don! Don!.. then he pats his head from one side and asks Ganpat.. Babi? Babi is the name of your wife?.. go get her..

Ganpat yells for her to come out! Babi comes out followed by Naku at her heels. Babi stands before Morey and he takes his ray bans and amusedly asks so you are Babi ? Goondi! notorious lady! and slowly he dismounts his jeep and stands before her looking down upon her face, you did the vandalism? Babi denies no Saab I didn't do anything?.. Morey turns to the policeman call him! Morey challenges her why? you want to become godmother? Babi denies Iam telling the truth I didn't do any thing! She turns to Ganpat tell him! She looks at Morey and gradually Champuk shows up from the side and she shouts you! you turned up here too! Naku go get my sickle!

Naku stands behind her Aye and stops her from opening her mouth. Morey calmly warns her keep your voice low other wise I'll stuff a piece of cloth down your throat.. he then turns to Champuk is she the one?, who confirms that yes she broke his camera and also beat him! Babi goes beserk and pulls out the walkie talkie from a policeman's holster standing behind her.. her family tell her to stop , but she gets restrained by policewomen..champa chameli.

Champuk says did you see Saab! she'll smash your walkie talkie too , both mother and daughter are the same!.. daughter a witch and mother a monster! Morey repeats beti? Then he turns to Champuk, where is the daughter? And he points to Naku her!

Morey eyes her with interest, as a timid Naku hides behind her mother and Morey comes and stands behind her ,leering at her.. and with his stick points to her and asks Champuk her? you took her picture you git! did you take it to scare children?

Morey chuckles and says to Babi oyee mother India your daughter is a fairy! did you give birth to her after eating coal? Sethji , Ganpat look very disturbed..

Then Morey orders his lady constables to put Babi in the van. Sethji cries, Naku cries so upset she is that she falls to Morey's feet and begs him to let her mother go!my mother is not at fault ! its this photographer he took my picture and my Aye did what she did for me!!she weeps hysterically let my aye go saab ji!

Morey suddenly slaps Champuk across the face! and every one is shocked.. and he turns with a smile towards Naku who straightens up and Morey says to her.. he took your picture so he got punished! he then shouts he took your photograph and then printed it in the newspaper! and he gives Champuk another resounding slap! Soo he gets punished again... then he goes to Naku and says but chaman bahar! if some one takes your photo you should say thank you to him! embrace him and give him a ummmh ummh chumma.. and he looks at Naku with lust and than adds but your mum broke his heart.. so now your mum should get punished too shouldn't she? and he orders Babi be put in the van!

Naku falls to his feet again begging let her go !we are poor people! and he looks down at her hugging his leg and he says leave me you are stuck to me like a leech! Naku shouts my Aye will get ill! and he kicks Naku away with force and Babi screams and struggles and he pokes fun at her my oh my!some strength you have, and he orders the constables to put Babi in the van..

Naku sits on the ground wailing and Sethji cries as Babi is pushed in the van and she screams aye!aye! as the siren screeching van and police car dashes off..

Sethji runs to his sister and wipes her bleeding nose and says don't worry I'll do something we'll get her released...and Ganpat tells every one to scram as there is no natak happening here. He goes inside his house muttering I told her not to create trouble , she thinks she's Phoolan Devi so its her own doing.. he looks for a bottle of booze and drinks.. Sethji brings his sister in and Naku near to tears tells Ganpat they have taken her, and he says had they banged her up a few years ago we would not have had such trouble!

Naku cries and he consoles her don't worry he will release her no one wants their ears rammed with her constant talking.. here take this with you and he gives her Babi's medication for breathing problems.. and as Naku leaves Ganpat sits and drinks. Sethji asks him aren't you going to see that aye is released? or are you going to sit here and drink .. Ganapat says no he's not going they'll lock him up too and Sethji says you are such a kamina! and he retorts that's because Iam your father, he tells Sethji that Naku needs a man with her so you go.. and Sethji says yes! and runs after his sister to the police station.

Police Station

Morey sits at his table playing games on his mobile phone. Babi from the cell cries and begs let me go saab please let me go ,he ignores her pleas. Sethji and Naku enter and spot their mother. Naku runs to her mother, who begs her to let her out of this place! Naku assures her sure I'll speak to the inspector. She goes to Morey who ignores her and then screws his face and says as soon as you arrived I lost the game!and he puts his mobile on the table. Both Naku and Sethji watch, as he starts flexing his biceps. Naku begs him please let my mother off and Morey gets up and stands behind her , why should I let her go? ok if I do let her go what will I get? what will you give me? Babi much worried watches from the cell. He leers and pokes fun at her, god made you in such a hurry , and then he left you! even he too was frightened!

Naku cries my Aye suffers from diabetes she will become ill. He says really? blood pressure and diabetes are illnesses that the rich have , not guttersnipes like you! besides when your mother was being a thug, smashing the camera, she forgot her diabetes? Naku pleads please have mercy ! and he replies if a policeman starts having mercy then there would be lawlessness.. ok do one thing.. he gives her a piece of paper and gives her figures to add.. which make a sum of 25000 rupees . He says now you bring this amount and get your mother released.. only 25000 . He studies Naku's horrified face slyly.. as dumfounded, distressed Babi, Naku and Sethji look on...Hamlet53 ~ 30.8.13.

Precap: outside the police station, Morey offers Naku a name card and suggests here go to this person, he'll give you 2o thousand for one night! tonight you have the opportunity to fulfil your obligation of being a daughter.

Awesome update...Enjoyed it...Episode started with Ganpat's blah blah...Naku tried to console Babi...But Ganpat's words add fuel to her fury...Brilliant Sethji stuffed cotton wool & gave some wool to Ganpat for money...We too in the same state..Babi didn't want Naku to continue her work...Naku consoled her...Next scene is our villain Moorey's entry...One of the LTL's dangerous villain before Anna...You captured it very perfectly ...Wow..I still loved this Babi's braveness...Moorey's evil eyes watched Naku with lust...He gave tight slaps to That stupid champuk...What's that ummmh ummmh chumma???...I hate his lustful acts...Errr...He kicked our innocent Naku...I HATE HIM...I love this sethji's care...Stupid Ganpat...Babi begged Moorey to release her...Naku & Sethji came there & Naku begged for Babi's release because of her illhealth ...Oyeee...Stupid Moorey...Diabetes can come to poor ones also...One type of diabetes is a genetic disease...Grrr...She is not a thug...I hate this Moorey...Precap gave headaches to me...He asked her to sleep with someone for 20 thousand...

Episode ~5

1st January 2010

Police Station

The episode picks up from the previous scenario. Local thanna, police station, Babi behind bars, Naku , Sethji put forth further pleas before Morey to set their mother free. He had given Naku the price for bail money and was now in no mood to listen to her pleadings.

He basically yells to Babi, tell your daughter to zip it! before I throw her in with you.. a plate of tandoori chicken is placed under his nose and he picks a drum stick up and goes murgh! and then turns to Naku, you! why are you standing there looking like a statue? now leave from here !and his eye falls on his mobile phone and he declares music! What then follows, is his moves of swaying his body to the tune of the song "lets do the twist!range de chaka ! let's do some rollah shollan aadi taapi!.. the song goes while he hoists the drum stick in his hands and carries out a full on maast performance before Babi ,Naku,and Sethji! who look on in complete shock as Morey and his constables turn the police station into some cheap low down disco joint!

To cause Naku and her family further insult he orders one of his constables to marry Naku, so Naku that becomes the daughter in law of this police station! and Babi its MIL!.The constable gives a lewd smile with stained crooked looking teeth, but complains what kind of horrid looking children would he have if he married this girl!! all police staff laugh at Naku's expense.

Babi protests and curses him vehemently may you rot with humongous worms feeding off you!. Morey tells her to shut her face before he boxes it in. Babi bids her daughter don't give him anything and tells her to leave and that not to worry about her.. just leave this police.

Naku leaves when she is told visiting hour has lapsed.

Morey follows her and sends Sethji to one side so he can talk to Naku privately. Morey offers Naku a name card and suggests, here go to this person, he'll give you 2o thousand for one night!. She dithers and he convinces her what's there to think about? tonight you have the opportunity to fulfil your obligation of being a daughter.

He makes it easier and reassures her look as soon as you bring the money your mum will be set free. Naku, gives in and asks what does she have to do? and he says craftily , the work is a bit tricky, hence 20000 for one night, he cajoles her go there tonight and come back to me in the morning and your aye gets released, now don't dwell too much on it and go now..

Naku's home

Ganpat sits outside his house drinking.. he is approached by two locals who are collecting donations for news years night celebrations in the basti. Ganapat turns them away, can't you see my wife is banged up and you come asking me for donations.. here I have to borrow money to feed my habit and you come asking for charity and he shoos them off angrily!

He goes inside the house and moans about charity collectors. Naku comes rushing into the house with her brother and asks for 50 ruppes for travel money to go the address Morey has given her. Ganapat refuses. Naku says , it's to arrange for cash to get Aye released... Inspector Morey says if she goes there to work for one night, she will get paid 20000. Ganpat refuses and says he would never spent that much money to make her aye into a grandma !why would he spend that kind of money to have her released!

Naku cries out, aren't you ashamed your biako ,wife is behind bars!! he says no I am not ashamed, why should I be? I was born naked! besides your aye went behind bars because of you! so you arrange for the money! ,he says, she's your mum you get her released. Naku protests, so she means nothing to you? day and night she slogs for us!!.. what kind of a stone hearted man are you?

Ganapat turns to her defensively, you call me stone hearted? well it was this man who 15 years ago at 3: 00 am give you! your sister! and your Aye refuge! your own father had kicked you out! you were tiny Naku! wearing a cap stuck to your mother like a baboon! I took you in and said to your Aye from today this shack is yours, no one needs to go anywhere! till this Ganpat is alive! I fed you lot since then.. today since four five years your Aye is feeding us so I have become stone hearted? He shouts.

He cries its not his fault the mill closed! I lost my job! up until I had money! I had clout! now that I am broke! all hell breaks loose!.. good!! she stays out for one night! it's this Ganpat who tolerates her, watch! that inspector will be fed up of her in one night! don't worry I'll do something.. he assures Naku. and muttering leaves the house... where am I going to get 25000 from?

Naku assures a worried Sethji and says don't worry let's check with Mangala our neighbour, If she can help us.

Mangala, says she only has 3000 stashed up and offered it, but Naku thanked her for the offer.. but says she only wants 50 rupees for her travel money. Naku requests her to care for her brother while she goes to this place..Mangala, takes Sethji into her house like a good neighbour and feeds him..

Hotel Garden View

Naku arrives in a taxi to this hotel .. the garden area is decorated and done up with illumination. She arrives at an outdoor reception area and offers him the card and says inspector Morey has sent him..

The proprietor much amused laughs and turns to a young girl beside him, this Morey has a weird sense of humour... take this black beauty to the boss may be his worries can change to laughter.. the girl takes Naku to the boss.

BASTI

Sethji' friends call out to him, you getting ready for tonite!..A sad Sethji proceeds to the local small store and asks for sugarless biscuits..

Suresh turns up asking for grooming items, and says he's getting ready for tonight.. he shows off he has lots of money on him.. shows Sethji his designer locket and watch.Sethji gobsmacked wants to know how Suresh has so much cash? Suresh replies you're too young to know yet , I'll tell you when you are a little older.. and pays for Sethji's biscuits.. then walks off saying to the shopkeeper keep the change

Sethji is very envious as he needs cash to release his mother.

Hotel Garden view

Back at the hotel the owner attends to a telephone call, worried that one of his workers cannot make it for tonight's party. Naku is brought before him he's not interested really, but as she turns to leave he asks her , who sent her here?. Naku replies Inspector Morey.

He explains tonight there will be a new year party, there will be full on celebration and festivity, booze, food, beauty.. he says let me explain more... his voice is blanked out.But as he speaks, Naku listens attentively wide eyed.He asks have you understood?, Morey has sent you that's why Iam giving you 20,000 for one night.. tell me if you want to do it? if not there are many others who will do it!

Naku recalls Morey's demand and quickly agrees .. I'll do as you ask me to do me saab, and the man yes good!... episode ends.. Hamlet 53. 31.8.13
