hi guys

it always crossed my mind was MR lucky to get a role like dutta or iconic character wouldn't have been same without MR

great actor need good story .good story need actor who can do justice to it

guys would like to know ur view .keeping my opinion in safety vault .don't want to influence anybody 😆😆

MR couldnt have asked for a better role than DSP for his return on TV and LTL couldnt hav found a better actor 2 enact the role of DSP...if LTL was life then MR was the soul...he played a very important role in making DSP what it was...credit 2 both the writers and MR in giving us the most legendary and larger than life character DSP👏👏👏

a good character and a good actor is very essential in the success of a character... if one of the two is lacking then theres some problems...l i.e. abhishek in DEK...his character, Akash wasn't written well...but Abhishek as an actor isnt bad at all...but becos his character was weak...it didnt work wel with the audience despite abhishek doing his best in terms of acting... luckily tht wasnt the case with LTL...they gt the perfect man for the perfect role...😳😳😳 so both wer lucky...as nakusha in another thread pointed out many other actors/shows tried copying DSP bt failed... tht does tend 2 happen wen a new character/actor breaks the current trend and introduces a new spice... the same happened yrs bk with iqbal khan and his role as rockstar Angad Khanna...and after tht we saw the likes of karan patel try 2 recreate rockstar angad khanna with his role as robbie in kasturi... bt as they say something cant b recreated...and i feel no1 can ever match the larger than life and power DSP had...

I would say both ...Had it not been a strong actor like MR no matter how beautifully the character of dutta was penned it would have failed to strike the audience ...

Same way MR is one of those lucky actors who grabbed such a powerful role in tv industry wherte female leads are dominating every where and male leads have nothing much to do except standing behind those powerful ladies ...

I think both of his roles aakash and dutta were really dominating and different so the man is lucky too 😊

the merging of the two was the beauty of the show ltl was mishal and

mishal was ltl Mishal to date hasn't got anything better... nor is

he likely to, fur a long time. same goes for ltl if mishal hadn't been in it i doubt the

viewers would like a character like dutta who at times was very rude even to his mum. who would only stand back and watch helplessly .. nice post again nakusha.

I would say, both. MR was equally lucky to get a role like "dutta". Honestly, the character personally interested me at the beginning. I was like, "OMG! what a different character! dutta bhau!!, What a relieving change in daily soaps!"

Then i started falling for the guy 😳. and thats why LTL is lucky to have MR in it. Coz, i can say from my guts that no other actor could have made the same impact. I might be little partial but before LTL i never felt such craziness for any actor. A rare duo (Story and actor) which happens once in a century. 😊

No other show or character on tv atleast has captured my imagination as much as this one. MR luckily for us grabbed the role which was penned beautifully to a grt extent (as they didnt know how to end it).. If they had predecided the ending or gone acc to the original script then MR would have been available til the end and it woud have peaked even greater heights. Despite the messy handling of the show, LTL is considered a benchmark for many reasons..

It would be difficult for MR to find another role more powerful than dutta bhao if not impossible, but lets hope he finds somethg interesting, cause he is too talented.

Both...😃But Dutta would not have been a character we all love so much, has it not been for MR. Both where lucky...but ltl more.Ones again a great thread Nakusha. 😃

I feel both the story and actors are important. but I also feel the most important is the role of a director or direction of the presentation. For the director 's treatment of the subject matter has an overall impact on the audience. Those ,shows, films fare well where the team of story writers, production , and actors , understand and share the vision of theIr director..The director's judgement on role suitability and risk taking upon an actor too is pivotal to the success of the work churned out..
Ironically.. ltl1 the directors did change , and hence brought their personal vision to the show..
