So, Major at london pub with Bradley n the chipkoo jane. I find a lot of similar culture if not a tradition of pubs across in India too, especially my hometown Bangalore which is famous as a Pub City in India with every street boasting atleast one pub. Even the age limit, the hunky bouncers, the youngsters with streaked hair of all hues n colors, all match up... hmm, so i gues we are not lagging behind, pretty fast in copying the western culture. Alas! wish we were a bit circumspect in what we copied, wish we copied their work culture, their law abiding nature, their general civic sense n care for conservation of heritage n natural resources...
Wel, Jane has continued to test major's patience ..dunno when he's gonna erupt. Luckily Bradley has been a huge help with wise tips in countering her. Waise i wonder if major even needs any cause woh toh is a self proclaimed one woman man, boring hai banda lol.. hope none of my friends read this lest i be declared an outcast.
So the day's menu is about combative gear n mama mia, what do we have.. a half naked major in full public view lol... bada bold hai banda abhi. How come none of the ladies or even any of the men swoon or fall uncounscious, ... But coming to the main topic of interest, it was so apt that major gave the first thought to the usage n suitability to local conditions. Otherwise can vouch for innnumerable instances of public money bein wasted on defense material imported without much thought but only to benefit powerful lobbies.
So he is alerted of the festivities back home n taking it as the perfect opportunity finally skype's. God! he's a lovestuck teenager impatient to catch one glance of her but naku did the unthinkable falls unconscious, lol.. once the news breaks all hell break loose at PN with baji leading all the way, but the man the sole cause for all the commotion totally oblivious to the most important news of his life, lol... Serves him right, naku did wel not to reveal nahi toh yeh bandar ki tarah nachte huye would have taken the next flight back home.
But, love the way he's teasing her n makes up in the end, Wonder many a times hammie, either you have an extraordinary imagination or keen sense of observance or best very experienced in this matter.. 😆😉
Chapter 68: "What the Dickens"!
Hammie ab bardasht ki bahar hai major ki halat dekha nahi jaata.. ooh bechara pyaar ke aag mein jal raha hain aur tum uska misery extend kardiya. What colorful description., rightful husband missing the main course lol... why has he turned to a roondu baby himself losing self control, aptly described by tahera, Drama queen hain totally.. skype has rubbed salt to his wounds. I was confused for a while as to who is experiencing pre-natal discomforts naku ya major. But poor naku missing him to bits is totally understandable, her harmones playing havoc with the emotional needs.
Yeh lo, naku aur major ko toh samaj sakte hain, lekin baji ka bhi harmonal balance bigadgaya hai, roops ko toh bhagwan bachaye, kuch toh gadbad hai baji ki halat suspicious hain..😛. Naku the darling of PN now is rightfully pampered by one and all. It was noteworthy to see kishore's slight discomfort of the fact that the soon to be father is in the dark.
Wow, dutta recalled to repeat his lecture job an honour indeed. But what followed was the shocker, Ramsey offering him a two year job, yeh toh pukka hammie ki conspiracy hai..lol n i would be surprised to say d least if major would be tempted. Ramsey should be surprised but there are many who would go bloke than be shipped to a foreign country.
It was baji's turn to advice naku n he was impressive at that, had a valid point too. The whole exercise of breaking major the news was hilarious, was like watching it on tv..so beautifully written hammie, luuvvved it absolutely. But the reaction of Major was as ever dramatic. He had lost it ..aur naku ko bhi ruladiya GADHAAA aarggghh!! gadhagiri mein PHD jo kiya hai.. Bradley bhaiyya thoroughly enjoying the whole situation.
Well hammie it was a beautiful double delight for me, missed it for so long though. Thank you dear for a wonderful treat as ever and u know by now how much your writing is loved n appreciated by so many👏.
