From another thread...

My question to the DT is a technical one.Are additional resources required to host this particular page of the IF? What constraints are there to let a forum run when traffic & hits are very less?After all this is just one of the innumerable pages of the vast IF.If the problem is not a technical one what other reasons might be there to decide to shut down other than members not visiting or posting here? We all are waiting for word about the next project from our man.Why couldn't we do that here?

The forum is not closing 2day .. we have given time till this month ends ..still 18 dayz left & that would be considered enough time period given 4 a warning ..😳

shabz if u don't mind m saying so we were not given a warning , we were given a notice of closing down ! if u could hav gave us a warning...ie. if so many posts arent made or the numbers of visitors are down to so many then the forum will close. but no such warning was given, people rightly thought that they will be back soon as. in fact it's probably one of th things they were relying on to be here for them where they were going to relax after the gruelling exams. if the warning had been in place i'm sure people would have made a min or two in their busy schedules to give an input, rather to have nothing to come back to.

Only the forum is closing , not IF .. Closing of this forum doesn't mean that u wiill lose ur frndz ..U all still can connect with them in other forums ...
The whole of IF is open to u ... u will still have ur frndz .. u can chat with them ,, u can still continue ur FFs .. only the place will change ..
Active FFs would shift to FF section where members can continue to update ,, those interested in chatting then there is Chat forum in IF where u can open ur own thread & spam as much as u want ...

I know now this news is depressing for us & Mostly i can do is extend the date for a week more ..
but sooner or later the forum is going to be closed .. & its a request that plzz dont make it more difficult for us as it already is & please accept this fact ..

Ofcourse you have given us 18 days time for d clisure of the forum, but my point was why wasnt there any warning prior to the decision of closing made public on LTL forum? Shabz plzz, i can understand if u cannot help, but dont say all that we do on the forum is just spamming. Thought u understood our plight

It like takeing our home and saying please go to some others home please don't it we are happy with our forum so please let us be happy with it and I do not want IF forum I want my ltl forum I join the forum because I want to be in the forum not to some other please don't close the forum

Guys ... its understood that when a show ends & activity lessens down the forum would be closed down ..
& there was even a thread made a few mnths ago where we had stated that we would checking the forum about how much active it is & then make a decision about the forum closing ..
& 4 the past 2-3 mnths activity has really lessened down .. all we see are some FFs being updated or members chatting in the chat thread which can be continued in another forum ...
I understand examz are going on ,, but then u will understand that Fivr is also very busy with her studies & she has to handle other forums too ,, same goes for me ,, i too have been handling other forums so we cant give much time here ...
& plzz dont say that there haven't been any probz here that we have to come here & check ,, coz we still do get reports & complaints 4rm members here & we have to come here & resolve the issues ..

& believe me ,,we were very much sadenned when we reached on this decision about closing the forum after discussing this matter for over a month nw ..

ok shabz, i can understand what ur saying , but still it takes few months hard slog to prepare for exams. and thas why the timing isn't right for people to spend their any spare time here once they log on they see one thing than another then they are back to sqare one and distracted from studies so most of them boycot it all together. until they don't have to concentrate on studies. why is that not taken in consideration when decision was being taken.

I understand the forum has not been very active for awhile ...

But I would like to know what resources will go into keeping alive ?

Second u say , ppl can interact with friends through forums ...Then again what this the only forum they visit and post stuff on .

Third ..can we wait for another month or two ...wait til exams get over and then see if forum is active or not

u r saying we should go on other forums and meet there. who would want us talking discussing our show our actor our common interest on their forum? and some of us are not interested in whats on tv just now. we periodically drift here and there but nothing has kept us glued to our tv. for over a year. being on other forums might cause more problems. so i request u to at least give people time to make an attempt to make this forum more active in future. if then u still think we're not worth it then we will know we didn't do enough.

realy sad 2 hear this news...i dnt wnt it 2 close bt i guess it wil b...DMG forum onli has ffs 2 bt it stil open..bt i guess u guys r busy with other forums... i jus hpe mishal returns so we al can reunite soon...

I think the curresnt ffs are keeping forum pretty busy...this will be so unfair for them at least they should have been warned a month before or so ...so that those who want to give thier ffs a proper closure could have done so... moreover their are many other forums which are less active than LTL forum but still active then why this is happening with this forum 😕
