I always wondered why Leela went to such great lengths to break her brother's heart😕 Only Kala knew DSP was her father's killer's son so what possible reason could Leela have to hate him so much? She has been portrayed as a shrewd woman so why did she follow Kala so blindly & why did Kala never share with her sisters the reason for her hate?

Zuby'I think the reason Kala did not share the true about Dutta's father was, that she likes playing with minds'.she likes that no one really knows what she is thinking and what she is up to.

I also believe she did not trust her sisters enough to tell them everything.

Like'Kala did not tell her sisters'before much later'about Supriya loving the bodyguard or that she tried to kill Dutta.

She likes to be few steps ahead.

What ever Kala did'she justified it with that Dutta's father killed her father'if Leela and Roops found out the true they would be feeling the same and would be in the same situation as her'maybe she did not like being and feeling equal as her sisters.🤔

Kala is a very twisted character'she feel abandoned by her mom'she is angry and bitter with her mom'she want power and to control people'she admire Dutta's power'and she love that she is able to control a powerful man like Dutta.

I do not really believe that revenge and anger is what drives Kala'she just use it as excuse. She killed Damodar'still it was not enough'

About Leela and Roop'Roop just flowered without using her mind'Leela I felt had some sort of competition going on with Kala.

Leela I believe was just blinded by the materiel things and greed.

i was horrified at kala. how low can a mother fall. kishore was right. daayan bhi saat ghar chod deti hai.. but then she does says ki she wouldn't have let him fall. but still the trauma...

how i see it is , kala was present at the time of her father's death she saw everything with her own eyes that DP did not push SP ,his death was an unfortunate acc. but where parents or loved ones are concerned, we can twist realty , she was very young she had to blame someone for the mishap, who better than dutta because he was there,and an easy target. AS was too busy with 4 young children to bring up to see what kala was going through,when she was young she tortured him how she could but ,when seema left dutta he decided to get rich not for himself or for seema or anyone else but just to show that if money is an impotant factor for happiness he will get lots of it he had no plans to get married again, to have his own family to spend on he was never shown to have flashy cars or clothes or big gold bracelets or things, he lived simply by himself all his wealth the mansion everything was for the family. in other gangsters lives they show when aguy gets rich he will buy antiques or collect paintings or any thing that shows status but not with dutta he wanted nothing just earned and left it for others to spend,or gave it to the needy . he was not even in it for the power. Dutta gave far more love than he got thats why her mum loved him so much some children are like that they are so giving and some just take but dont give back as much. If kala believes AS neglected her so she deserves to be hurt too than what about her own son why they never showed her thinking if she neglects him how he is going to be affected in future. they show she couldn't care less. she also roped in leela&roops because from time to time she needed someone trustworthy to carry out her evil deeds,surely if you are going wrong someone like dutta outsiders might have refused. though leela hated kala 's hold on her she went along with it becauseshe was told it was for her own gain.

Their dirty mentality was at play here foremost.For them he was nothing more than an ATM machine.And it was unacceptable that there should be a true "haqdaar" of that machine in the form of his better half.That he would never place anyone over them just did not enter their vile dumb heads at all.

@Baljeet: Dont hit me for thinking this way,Baljeet but I believe most people are a little evil at heart.Its only the fear of punishment from the Almighty, or society or the law that they hold themselves in check.Leela got full protection under the umbrella called Kala & hence she & Roops let their evil side have a wild run at the expense of DSP's ruination.

@Ani: Loved your analysis of Kala's psyche.I believe she hated her womanhood the most though it was never shown.It binded her into a loveless marriage & unwanted motherhood.She wanted to be a dreaded hoodlum like her cousin.She craved power but her mom,Kishore,Anay & most importantly DSP were in the way.

@Sona: Me too believe that Leela knew DSP was her cousin & so it was easy for her to behave in that heartless manner.That parentage revelation in the DP track was major blooper.

@Tahera: Wow! Put beautifully in a nutshell.Her anger was never justified.Even when she killed the actual killer of her father she didn't find a modicum of satisfaction.
She fancied herself as a crusader against the injustices of Damodar Patil but DSP was her ultimate target.She wanted to get to him.She went to great lengths to destroy him when DP himself was in the area.She continued long after DP was dead.But why? Could never really understand. If she was her father's daughter then why is there not an iota of him in her? DSP is more like Shriram Patil.
