There is lot of buzz mishal playing shivaji post leap he has to play father to sambhaji ...

he is already married in teens with 2wives . history has lot abt shivaji & his son sambhaji & shivaji died at 50s .its a historical character & mishal has to play it too tee .including father & greying .will u accept him with grey .i doubt i can't see him in older character its better he plays his age

shivaji isn't like jodha akbar it just concentrated on romance of both the character this is completely different than that

How many of u still want him to play shivaji ?

First of all this news of him playing older Shivaji is not confirmed by any other reliable source. Historic shows have limited viewers, Shivaji's story is known to many. Mishal was always successful in delivering unexpectedly brilliant performance. Atleast I would like to see him in a new challenging role, where there is some mystry involved in the story as well as his performance. A show which appeals to every one.😊

First of all, sorry for my ignorance. I didn't know much about the details of Shivajee's personal lives nd all. Good that u have shared this. After reading this post, i have become more doubtful about the news. I don't think at all Mishal would play such an elderly character at such an young age. Not at least now.

In my views he must come back with new show as most of people prefer to watch a new show and if they like they continue show.

Rest depend upon the confirmation of news as no confirmation is there that he is coming to shivaji.

So wait and watch.

its difficult to say what type of role I want him back in ;what setting ?what age range? ..for my judgement is heavily burdened by the desperation to see him back on screen..preferably a daily TV pogramme! such is the failings of the heart ...so many of us have mixed feelings ,but as the wise ones among us point out ..wait for intial confirmation..I guess that is the option I need to go by momentarily...

Why not? Right now they are depicting Shivaji's adolescent days...when and IF Mishal steps in, he would be portraying Shivaji in his 20s and 30s! That phase will definitely continue for some time. And then if he chooses to play the older version too, it would be quite a challenge for him! I, for one, would love to see him in such a mythic role! EDIT: If the show is now on its 75th epi, as Ivy says, then it is going to take another 6 months for the adult Shivaji to show up. In that case, I am more inclined not to believe this news.

Mishal has been very selective about the roles he has played so far. Mishal captured the hearts of the viewers with his superb and consistent performance as Aakaash and then the legendary Dutta Shreeram Patil.

Let us also remember that acting is MR's Passion and not his only means to earn a living. Though I also know ,and I am sure so does Mishal, that he cannot wait another 4 years before making a comeback as time is ticking.

The role of Shivaji is yet to be confirmed. Will wait till I actually see a promo because colors and india.com combination have not been reliable sources so far. It could be just a ploy to get Mishal fan's to watch and improve TRP's...consider 200th epi when they are in 75 th epi.

Mishal working with colors again and that too after waiting for 10 months😕 Something doesn't fit!

I believe in Mishal and trust that he will choose something that will be soul satisfying for him and a viewers' delight😃

I just want him to make a come back.Have left "Whats and hows" up to him. Because I've realised long time back that it's not whether Mishal will justify the role, it's whether the role will justify his talent.

Dear...
First thing is that news are not yet confirmed...
Second thing... we don't know what storyline they will play... I mean till what age of Shivaji they have decided to show...
Third thing... considering Mishal being too choosy... I don't think Mishal will really take a role if that does not suit him... He doesn't require to go door to door for a role...
Shivaji was a great warrior... hope u have read history...
And I dont think they r only gonna concentrate on just family... There were many issues that can be covered...
So chill... First let the official confirmation come... 😊
