The actor's convoy met with a minor mishap on the way to the red carpet premiere of MI4

True to his Mission Impossible alter ego Ethan Hunt, Tom Cruise vroomed through the city of Mumbai wowing his fans and the media with his brand of irrepressible energy. The Hollywood star's charm, apart from the paparazzi, floored his chauffeur as well. Kailash, an employee of the agency recruited to drive the actor around the city, would be greeted by Cruise every time he boarded the car with a warm "Namaste Kailash. How are you?"
Ankur Vaid, the head of the company that provided the conveyance, revealed, "Our driver was attending to Tom round the clock. He complimented us on our quality of driving. In fact, he told us that the driving was superb but he felt bad about the car, which was getting mobbed by innumerable fans and the media."
Vaid also remembered how Tom would keep asking Anil Kapoor in the car about ways to greet people in Hindi. "Anil told him to join his hands and say Namaste," said Vaid.
"Tom was extremely humble, patient and down-to-earth. It was an experience of a lifetime for us. He loved Mumbai. He wanted to try out the food but couldn't because of security reasons," added Vaid.
However, despite being driven by the best, one of the cars in Tom's convoy couldn't avoid a minor mishap. One of the cars rammed into the sedan that leading lady Paula Patton was travelling in to get to the red carpet event on Sunday night. "There was a sea of people. You could barely look ahead. It wasn't even an accident. Nothing happened to the car," explained Vaid.
