I so agree with u Shreya. D slayed her demons the night he rescued her from Morey. Her fears regarding her past life were then permanently put to rest that day she became his wife. There wouldn't be much point in raking up all that at this time.She has been running around town since Jan sometimes even in the middle of the night all by herself & no one paid her any mind.It was only Morey & Anna who happened to be so enamoured by her "Apsara" avatar. And both are gone for good.

I dont think her demons were quelled when she was rescued; Naku says, Dutta ne usko "Maut se Bachaya", but the very fact that she took such a long time to tell him about her fair face, that too only after she got married, still makes me feel that she is not over that. Plus, its also the fact, that Dutta needs to understand what she went through to truly understand...somehow, I feel that topic has not been addressed. Plus in all of Dutta's issues, somewhere, they have not addressed Naku's past fully with Dutta; the Dutta aspect is what I want them to focus on, since the only time, this was asked by Dutta was in the early episodes. Everything else was in passing, including her sister's topic.

Right and that is precisely my point too; in that Dutta has never had a chance to address that fact with her. Whether it was her past, or whether it was her pretty face, he has not addressed the fact, that he acknowledges what she went through. He appreciates her and also feels that she has a done a lot for his family and for him, but that aspect of her life which he does not know about, has not been addressed so far save for a few conversations. Even in Anna's den, he did not know what Naku went through. Did he even ask her once? Did he ask her besides that one time about her past, when he saved her from Morey as to what transpired in her life?
Naku has gone through a lot to get through to Dutta; but I feel that Dutta has not reached into Naku's psyche yet; just because she presents herself to be a calm individual, does not mean that she does not have fears and she does not need to be comforted. Why should only Dutta get that benefit always? From both Baaji and Naku? In fact, in this thread itself, Baaji once tells Dutta, Arre chalo, tune mere baare mein socha to sahi! That to me sums up my point, that Dutta needs to focus on his better half and his best friend for some time.

@Harshita: Did she ever give him that chance? Ever accorded him that sort of respect ? He was one who bared out the most painful aspect of his past to his servant girl.Did she ask him what ails him that first time? No. He did it on his own accord.He trusted her enough to pardon my language strip & show where all he was hurting. Did she give him the same back?No. She couldn't even bring herself to tell him she is fair. Men like D are very sure in their hearts & minds that ppl they love will come running to them first if anything troubles them. He respects their love enough not to question them on their well being. The entire JMM1 she was waiting for Dutta to ask her about her past? She didn't even bother to put his anger at rest by trying to explain about the Supriya fiasco.She went about happily shopping & preapring for her wedding even then she was waiting for him to ask her? I cant count the number of opportunities she had.
