I thought the title was very suitable for the story at the time...funny thing is when i got the title the story waas different...now its changed but still works...yeah lol me and m bus updates...i tell you though i think the ones written on the bus are much better 😛

right now let me see..ummhh.chapter 1.

~the setting is home ground the sub-continent,so immediate bonding...homecoming of NRIs, so it was expected that there would be an admixture of feelings the characters would bear towards the home ground .One has the older couple who are relieved they are back to their roots,to their ancestral home,however they is the preoccupation with them that would their children take to this change of affairs,which is understandable.

Then one has the children them selves,individualistic in their own right. The two,toffee-nosed daughters,Arohi and Roops,and the more down to earth Shalu...

And ,then you have the simplistic, foreign bred son who has strong sensual connections towards the simple,sights, sounds, touch,feel good factors of one's roots,heritage ,territory!👏

~the opening of the chapter,goes bang on to the celebration of the Girl Child issue👏.Naku has what it takes,strenght of body and mind, will power ,peseverance,the skill of multi tasking..so yes! not some helpless lass in the throes of misfortune and adversity .⭐️ However the final line of the para graph did indicates that she may have assumed the mothering ,nuturing role as a mother may be amiss!

~enjoyed the Naku/Baji scene,good you raised Baji's tarnished profile,he so very much needs to be up there along with the two main chracters ,that of Dutta and Naku.

~Naku's family caretakers of PN which means that the house already holds some significance to her ,some endearment ,some familiarity towards it ,after all she does, so to speak take care of it.

~ Ganapat seems a warm doting father who cherishes a bond with his eldest child ,a daughter ,ummmh,I assume he is a widower,can cook, however still needs nurturing and looking after from a woman , who, lucky for him happens to be his first born girl child!

~ Dutta "one for himself",stubborn,tempersome,oblivious to others, bar his baby sister..interesting Daya,😛 just about right ! my heart ,I must admit missed a beat when he entered the story and spoke!😭..miss him Mishal. I guess Iam brain washed!

~in comparsion to Dutta, Baji, you mentioned sport's a middle class attitude ..interesting ..so has the money,but not weighed down by it or status,loves the simple stuff in life, finds joy in small things ! Daya would Baji not be a better match for Naku?????,he's more her type!

so yes overall I like the tone ,feel ,characters and setting of the FF...please.continue...thanks for pm...xxxhammie
