Dutta2 first day

Kal first episode with new Dutta aka Shabbir. Maine socha tha ki Shabbir ke liye hi sahi per main ye show dekhongi. Dekhna tha ki Kayamt me usne jaisi acting ki thi waisi kar pata hai ya nahi. Dutta ke rol ko wo kaise nibhata hai. Per I feel yak''.. how boring. Main nirash ho gayee. Mujhe yakeen nahi hua ki ye wahi Shabber hai jiski Kyamat me acting jabardast thi. Sorry to say per Shabber ki na to Dialog delivery acchi thi na expression acche the. Wo josh wo junun, wo her cheej jiske liye Dutta, Dutta bhau hai. Jiski wazah se wo itna famus hai wo cheej gayab thi. Dutta ki sabse badi khasiyat uski aakhe thi jiski jariye wo apne saare expressuion jahir karta tha or bari khoobsoorti se jahir karta tha. Itna ki wo audience ke dil me ghar jkar gaye. Per Shabber ne wahi cheej miss kar di.
scene bahoot accha tha. Nakku ka nam sunkar Dutta ka aankhe kholna phir Gusse me us admi ko marna. Per kuch missing tha or wo tha Mishal Raheja. Yes wo Mishal Raheja jisne Dutta ke character ko itna famous banaya. Jisne us character me jaan dal di. Jisne use logo ke dilo tak pahuchay . he was missing. Isliye itna strong scene bhi bor lag rha tha.

Yahi scene agar Mishal karta to kya baat hoti uska Gussa. Uska andaz. Per Shabber ne to itne cool ddhang se dialoges bole jaise what's happened nothing. Everything is all right.

Channel ne Shabber ke kandhe per rakhkar badook to chala di. Per isme sabse jyada nuksan bechare SA ka hoga. Jo log uske naam se show dekhne bhi wale honge wo bhi kal ka episode dekhne ke baad shayad hi show dekhe. Ek to bor kahani usper Dutta ki ye halat. Oh god. Mujhe pata hai ki channel ne apni taraf se puri kosis ki hai MR ko replace karke best of best lane ki per ab shayad unhe pta chal jaye ki no one can replace MR.

Agar mujhe kal ke Dutta ko pehle ke real Dutta se compare karna ho or number dene ho to main SA/MR = 2/10 doongi. Sorry for SA. But true is true. No one can be Dutta accept MR.

NO one can play the role of Dutta, only and only and only MISHAL :(

When MR started playing dutta, it was a fresh role, not performed already by someone else. He modulated his voice and mannerisms to suit dutta's role. He made the dutta that we know.

But here shabbir has taken on a role performed successfully by MR. he is in a very tricky situation here. He cannot copy MR, but if he changes the mannerisms too much also, the viewers will have problem accepting that as dutta.

Though i have accepted shabir as dutta that is only because i want LTL to end with Dutta-nakku and not nakku-someone else. So i don't have any expectations from him. I will be disappointed only if the CVs don't end LTL with Tasha, because that is my only expectation from LTL.

I have read in Initial stages some ppl in the forum had questioned MR's performance and suitability of the role, even when there was nothing to compare with also. But here shabbir has to face huge comparison with MR. So i won't judge him so soon. Also anyone who watches, should not expect MR from shabbir. If they do, then they are bound to get disappointed.

It wasn't that it was just a fresh role that no one else had played...it was the beginning for the CHARACTER as well...There has been such a BUILD UP to all that we've seen of Dutta over the course of the past year and a half...Mishal grew along with the layers to the character growing...he had a huge hand in adding in those layers too, no doubt...but it was a perfect complementary relationship too...and then ultimately yes, MR as Dutta overpowered the entire show, the story...that's how charismatic he made the character.


The time that Shabbir has chosen to enter the show...there is nothing left for Dutta...this is a contrived and stupid storyline...Dutta went through so many upheavals when MR played him...heck he was BLIND at one point...what can beat that? We've already seen Dutta's helplessness, his agony at being away from Nakku...what's the point of the current scenario?? Shabbir cant' salvage it even if he tries his best...So it's not about JUDGING him, but there is NOTHING left in this character also...MR owned everything from day one and he took it away with him as well...and that's one solid truth.


I personally have not watched the show in ages, nor do I have any intention of watching it. Shabbir doesn't have to face comparison to MR as much as the fact that he has to face comparison to an EPIC year long journey of the Dutta that MR played...

Honestly I fail to understand who would watch this show right now...it's so utterly worthless...I would rather watch the entry epis of Dutta in the original LTL many times over even if MR was more raw back then in a sense.

LTL was a rare show with focus on build up for the longest time...each step in the storyline ultimately served a larger purpose for the overall story...but now there is nothing of that sort...Shabbir as this one character...which is just a shell of the real Dutta...can't salvage this crapfest.
