Why this forceful elongation?

Indian soaps are really wonderful in the beginning but a time comes when they become crap, like bidaai after ragini's wedding became crap, miley jab hum tum was forcefully elongated once after nupur mayank married and samrat gunjan confessed their love. And now LTL has become the most unbearable crap. Although main cause of downfall of LTL is mishals exit but I think almost all the story had reached its end with naku duta together and dutta aware of Kala's reality. why these shows are not ended beautifully at the end of main story, why the shows are run forward with time passing little stories. All this useless elongation damages the real essence of the show and kills the beauty of beautiful characters.
