Ya that scene too, but I strongly felt in the scene after he addressed the people of Patilwadi in front of the hospital. The reason why that scene made me curious was, just last night this girl saved Dutta 2 times - first, she picked him up from the streets and took him to hospital, and 2nd, when those people arrived at the hospital to attack him, she warns and alerts him! And Dutta himself says, "main apne jaan bachane walon ka ehsaan zindagi bhar nahin bhoolta", but in this case, he was explicitly ignoring her, and stealing away glances from her! I was also thinking of the scene where he holds her ankle, something told him she WILL help him (from the lot)!
Okay, I need to rewatch that scene carefully. How could I miss out on that? I remember that ankle-grabbing moment though and the feeling of "yes, this girl will help me"...
Oh to be frank, even I hated Bella's character! And in Twilight series, I just liked the 1st movie, just because maybe it was something different, a different kind of love story (where a predator falls in love with his prey 😆!) There was something sweet about the concept - a totally aloof and introvert girl, whose parents are divorced and mom is married to someone else, and she stays with her Dad who is busy all the time and is not that expressive as far as love is concerned. She also doesnt have any friends, so basically, a totally HOPELESS case 😆! Then how she finds that love in a "vampire" and finds the life in "vampire land" more attractive and worth "living" than the normal world 😆! But thats about it, then later in other parts when I realised she ACTUALLY falls in love with Jacob too, I was like 🤢!! What kind of "true" love is THAT I was wondering! So that kills the story there!I've reach a lot of paranormal romances that came a long time before Twilight (which isn't a very unique love story - it just repeats what every other vampire romance has contained on both TV and in books and frankly, I just call it good timing in terms of its popularity as I personally think that the books were released at a time when people/teenagers needed a change, something new and exciting, and so the first movie came and BOOM) - anyway, my point is that in terms of depth and substance and morale, Twilight lacks all three. The kind of love that was shown was more like an obsession, an irrational and unhealthy one, urging teenage girls to obsess over the guy they believe that they love and if he leaves - stop living, become an adrenaline junkie and try to kill yourself. To easily affected minds such a girls in a tender age - this is a dangerous message to be giving.Bella is a very selfish girl and cannot think outside herself. I dislike that about her a lot. There was this funny article once that summed up all the messed up themes and things about Twilight Saga: http://www.cracked.com/funny-36-twilight/😆
