Fatty, maybe they all are confused and uncertain about the whole thing. No one might be sure of the way things are going on, and without being sure, maybe no one wants to commit to any statement. I know they can say something as simple as "talks are on" and stuff, but again it might be like giving hope, and eventually if things dont work out, either MR would be blamed, or the PH/Channel. So everyone is just playing safe by not committing anything even remotely. And not only that, after everything if MR is finally replaced, again it can have a negative impact after building hope. So as long as the concerned people dont comment, they feel safe, so that even if something doesnt materialise, they are not answerable to any speculation, or they can just say "we never said anything, those were just rumours!" But on the other hand, if things materialise, then its good for everyone and then they can openly give statements and interviews. So I guess, this is what their mentality might be about the whole thing 🤔.

If Mishal is not playing Dutta, then the entire game is over. There is no way on earth or heaven or hell that we can digest another guy playing his role. As far as I am concerned, Mishal is the actor who breathed life into Dutta and he is the only Dutta for me.

If someone else steps in. then the results will soon be evident for all to see. And I will be free from watching any serials that air in Color!!!!! And the channel will also be free of LTL soon!!!!

Appu, they are the ones who have created the 'buzz' from which this article stems and they are the ones who have given the 'source'...if things were not and are not at concrete enough a stage for them to comment on with a yes, no or even self-admittingly 'in process,' why not stay quiet and work things out before letting them out to the media? Because they want the publicity from the mystery and speculation that will arise once again and keep fans on the edge regardless of the truth to whether MR is coming back or not. And IF didn't go to them to get the scoop, they (the channel/PH) gave it to IF...so if they had ever wanted to play 'safe,' they wouldn't have let any of their problems out in the public to begin with.

Lemme make it clear too just in case it isn't, that I am not for or against the idea of MR coming back. That is absolutely secondary and totally dependent upon his decision, something that can be dealt with any which way it falls. My disdain is for the manner in which things have been handled by everyone involved and I don't feel very forgiving or kind towards them for the ride they have taken the fans on for these past few months. Maybe some of us can get over or forget the drama put up by this channel and the people involved with it if MR comes back, but I know I'll remember it. Call me bitter...I am 😆

I understand what your saying Fatty. See if PS or anyone else deliberately created this hype, then there is nothing left to discuss about it, we would only be the fools trying to speculate "why" "when" "how", etc. And if this IS a cheap tactic, it can only arise in the head of ONE & ONLY PS! I know, as viewers we had to go through a lot in the past 4 months. We all were part of that. And we know WHO the main person behind all this is. So what I'm thinking is, even if this is JUST a "gimmick" to keep the fans speculating, wouldnt they be aware that this cannot go on for a long time? Maximum, say 1-2 weeks they can keep the people guessing, excited, etc., but if MR doesnt come back within this time, automatically the audience will stop watching LTL! So what I'm thinking is, if the people sitting in Colors office are smart enough to understand that if they do ANYTHING in connection with MR, they can draw the audience (MR's FBs in LTL2, rumours that he might be back, etc.), doesnt it mean that these guys KNOW the importance of having MR back in their show? PS very coolly said "even if MR leaves, TRPs wont be affected", now what happened? Everyone is gaining back their senses, and slowly truth is dawning on them. Now PS and others are really REALISING MR's importance in the show. So how long can they play one gimmick after another to keep audiences hooked? One day or the other when they stop these gimmicks, or when the audiences realize their "intentions", everything will fall down right? When MR disappeared, within 2 weeks the results were out! Massive drop in TRPs! So I think since the new CEO has joined, there are chances that this initiative might have been his idea.

So even if this is JUST a "rumour", I have a feeling the culmination of this rumour might be with MR's entry, especially now that a new CEO has entered, and his main aim is PROFITABILITY. It seems all this was happening as the old CEO was hardly bothered, as he was anyways planning to leave! Now that this new guy is there, lets see how he goes about handling things.

Remember, even MR's exit news started with such "rumours", which eventually turned out to be the reality.

Its not that I'm or anyone here is happy with the way things are going on. But what can we do? We have been tolerating this s*** from PS for the past 4 months, still were are hooked here right? So even though I'm also bitter like you, but am just trying to see the positive side of things, IF MR returns 😳. I just feel MR's return can coverup for all this torture we had to go through since his exit, like they say "registhan main baarish" 😆, same would be our condition if MR comes back 😆! Uski ek muskaan dekhenge tho hum baaki sab baatein automatically bhool jaayenge 😍.....just imagine Fatty, his sweet smile 😍, the way he would look at Nakku when he is back 😍, the way he would nurse her back to sanity 😍, the way he would hug Baaji, AS and his sisters 😍, loads of Tasha scenes 😍, the way we will get to see him play and goof around offscreen in SBB, SBS, etc 😍, the way he would just simply smile on screen at we audience 😍..... Ab bataao Fatty, gussa phigal gaya na aapka? (Nakku style) 😆

if this news is true it will b the best as i missed seen mishal but nothing can b trusted until we c but yay will b awesome i would have started watching as i have stopped since mishal exit!😭

As always Appu, your optimism scares me 😆 The amount that you are pinning on MR coming back...whatever happens, any which way, I hope you are not dashed 🤗 Let's see what happens and if something even happens...this saga is not going to end until LTL does 😆

Dutta coming back....?If it is MISHAL then ok...otherwise again....It doesn't make any difference...How much blame they put on MISHAL ...ufffffffffff.....I am tired of all these things....anyways my motto remains the same...If MISHAL is back as DUTTA then I will watch...otherwise...there is no chance of watching LTL....😕

WORD Fatty! 👏 I concur! There's nothing else I can add since you've said EXACTLY what I've been thinking.. I don't mind MR's return - that really is not the point that upsets me. It's secondary to me and like you said, it's his personal/professional perrogative. My issue is with HOW this whole deal has been handled. Shuru sey ley k akhir tak chuppi chayi hui hai sab pe! MR left and now MR is coming back but not ONE person is ready to go on record and say how it is. "Sources" and "little birdies" ki bharmaar hai, but nothing reliable - the emotional see-saw they've put the fans through is really unheard of. Eventually toh HAR channel koi na koi official statement dey hi deta hai. Yahan toh 4 maheney sey ullu bana k rakha hua hai - na haan, na nah, aur "sources" beshumar!🤢

Fatty - I completely agree with you. In fact I have said this on numerous other posts too, that I am upset with all parties concerned, MR included. Not an iota of clarification for the fans...I will be elated if MR returns and NO, I disagree with folks here who say that he should not return for greener pastures, because who is to say who was treated unfairly? Nobody is saying anything so its left to viewer interpretation right? So him coming back is totally his decision, and yes as a selfish viewer, I will support that because I want to see a good actor come back, the politics of it apart.
