There is some kind of SOUL that MR brings in Dutta, which I DONT think Shabbir will be able to bring about. Exactly if it was just a gangster role, many actors could have done that. like you have pointed dutta has a vulnerable and child-like side to him, which these actors cannot bring in. He might have a fan following but the role is already consumed by MR, so not much is in the story now for a new actor. If he accepts this role, like dutta said to that Suresh guy in that fake pic of Nakku scene - "ya to tu himmatwala hai, ya bahot bada bewakoof"

They are getting the actors of shows already closed or to be closed, all together will shut down LTL.
