OMG, Terrence Lewis was very popular judge in DID and he said this regarding colors? Now everybody cannot be wrong, unprofessional and throwing tantrums, something is wrong with the channel itself then.... Mallika Sherawat has worked in international projects (good or bad )that is besides the point but then she for sure knows what is professionalism!

The problem with colours is that as employers they have never valued or pampered their actors who run their shows except for the US,BVS,NAADL's, in the way star plus do, eg their recent award ceremony in Honkgong. In the specific case of LtL like every one is aware, only always third rate treatment was meted out. To top it all LTL in particular has been steeped in the world of micro politics and therefore has been a hot favourite in journalistic circles for garuanteed spice and masala,be it in the name of tantrum or Mishal or PH. But what is worth noticing is that Colors could have clarified this trash but they never did,and they do not plan to do so in the future either, to me it seems obvious that this strategy is deliberate on their part to keep LTL afloat. Perhaps the wish to keep a lid on the fact that the character of Dutta ,professionally is that of a Don ,with all its connotations especially in recent history. One has to like I did this morning ,watch the episode LTL 24th March 2010 to see what therole was about professionally. Here ,I hasten to add that I have not taken into account how this Don's role pans out uptill 28th March 2011. But the episode is very ironic.

Very well pointed out Hamlet,. yes Star has its own awards and zee too....today out of country shootings are also done as incentive towards the actors and the crew, lekin yeh colors toh ekdum kanjoos nikla that too I have to pay extra to get it grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

I think one very important difference you can see between SP and Colors is their respective websites. If you visit indya.com you can see them asking for feedback everywhere. Infact SP has a initiative call Star Panel where you give feedback on their shows and they pay you for it!Whereas if you visit Colors website you hardly find any information abt its shows. Forget about giving feedback.
Like Colors even SP knows that viewers giving feedback thru net will majorly be NRIs or non-Indians not living in India. Yet they spend so much money in getting feedback from this crowd. Thats because they know that voices of their target audiences prolly wont reach them on time. So why not listen to the voices of the internet audience? By the time the voices of the target audience reaches them it will be too late.
If you look at SP they even keep trying to launch hatke shows like SGP, Love You Zindagi, Pyaar Mein Twist and now Navya. They are not afraid to experiment even at the cost of failure.
Whereas Colors is still stuck in 2009 when shows like Uttaran, BV, Ladoo were popular. These shows are shown favoritism and their stars pampered. After these shows Phulwa gets preferential treatment over LTL as it confirms to their 'usual' stuff. The channel is going to go down unless they mend their ways. Unfortunately though LTL has already become the channel's victim. Its now a question of 'when'.

I agree with many ppl in this forum have mentioned. Also i feel that none of the colors serials are interesting anymore. All the new shows are also not good. The new serial, which goes on air next week, also doesn't seem interesting. They are trying to get attention by roping in Avika Gor (young anandi) as she was popoular.
