Jayanti very apt topic certainly gets my back..... as far as the character of Dutta is concerned hemal thakkar has confirmed that it is a iconic to LTL, which is presently being confirmed by Dutta's FBs to various key characters and references to him....hence he has to return to tie the loose ends of this show to give it it decent termination. As you rightly put it whether that Dutta is still going to be MR is where the real question lies....now going by the FBs and a return to the original promo Mishal/Dutta and mahi is what you call dirty politics... we are deducing that Mishal ,IPL etc.. yes he and the channel are maintaining a silence .. again speculation..he is quiet because he cannot perhaps give a definite yeah or neah to the channel regarding his return,in case he gets a film offer... so is he thus keeping his options open? the channel probably are aware of this predicament and therefore cannot confirm his return as Dutta.... and therefore are still throwing him here and there in the present track to keep veiwers quiet. Until then we will just have to watch this space....Dutta as new face or what ever will to my mind will return.....
With regards to mahi in her present role...I do have a bee in my bonnet... like tasha lovers we loved her as Dutta/Mishal's love interest.....her as actor I feel was always over shadowed by mishal for the last fourteen months , recently in her display of in role insanity she has the opportunity of showing every one what else she is capable of as an actress; it goes with out saying here that her acting presently, of what I hear and read is nothing to write home about. I never thought she was a good either in jdj, in comparison to the other dancers, but what I did admire her for, was her reslience in staying till the end. She had public support till the end ,but that to me was because of her chemistry with Mishal in the Dutta/Nakku scenario. Any way for the minute Mishal is not there to steal her thunder and thereby best of luck to her in the present. I do ask for pardon if I have caused offence to Mahi fans, to me she is still part of the tasha pair ,and I always saw her as part of a pair and not singularly, in this case who do I blame, the channel or the creatives who are churning this preposterous humbug that ruined a clean,pure sublime story of two people who loved each other!
