Fantastic idea, Zuby! nd as huma suggested the letter to Mr Patil should also have all the responses of the forum nd the overall support for this endeavour. That could be some stimulation. He could convince Colors with some incenctive of a percentage, that should do the trick.

....the reason being one man - MR, who captured the imagination of one and all, by his powerful portrayal of Datta, understanding the subtle nuances of the character, getting under its skin and leaving us spell bound and wanting more, by his beautiful rendition of Dutta Shriram Patil - be it the Robin Hood don,the deferential son, the loyal friend, or the doting husband.

So, kudos to the two men 👍🏼who compliment each other, one by creating this iconic character "Datta" and the other by portraying and giving life to it and i hope that itself is enough inspiration for Mr.Jayesh Patil to write and tell us more about Datta.

I am honoured Sir... if this is real... Can't believe this to be true...

Lemme be honest . . Television writing has kept me busy for last 17 long years. . Never thought of writing novel on my characters. . You guys opened a new horizon for me . .datta and naku are real life characters and they have been part of my life for many years. Am wondering why i never thouht of this . But better late than never :-) . I respect this forum and i want u guys to help me writing my first novel. . God bless u all. . I ha started writing this RIGHT NOW . And i will publish this as an ebook.will need ur help in technicalities of it. . Lets rock guys
