Hello friends😊
I am back again to bore u allšŸ˜†.
Yesterday's episode made me history teacher šŸ˜‰,
today's episode made me write something on hindu traditions, so here i am.😊
Let me warn u all - it might not sound interesting,so those who wants to escape, can happily do so reading this warningšŸ˜†
We all including myself have seen uptil now many daily soaps, where thruout the year one or another festival is celebrated grandly. But,atleast i have never felt that any of those shows were actually focusing on the importance of that particular festival(may be 1-2 shows exceptionšŸ˜•).
Coming to LTL,the very first time i noticed the uniqueness of this show was during nakku & family running from morey & hiding themselves amongst the procession. They were shown with palkhi & they were going to shirdi saibaba.
Now,what caught my attention was the timing of that procession.
In december month every year, so many people starts these processions from different parts of their cities to reach SHIRDI.
WHY- becaz in month of december comes - DUTTA JAYANTI
So roughly around this jayanti, these processions starts & they end their journey in Shirdi.
I being born & brought up in Mumbai, is witness to many such processions.
So when i noticed this in LTL,i was overwhelmed😭.Seeing the palkhi,i felt like i was right their walking alongside it.Such a simple scene had huge impact on me.
That's when i started noticing culture related things in LTL & i am proud to say they have never disappointed me except one recent episode where they wrongly used
MAHA MRUTUNJAY MANTRA.
The next i noticed was during Dutta-Supriya wedding - WELL WORSHIPPING(kua pojan)
As per hindu tradition, this pooja is indeed carried out by the would be bride before marraige & it is considered very auspicious..It is still followed in rural areas where wells does exists.
Next was - COCONUT BREAKING COMPITITION ON RAKSHA-BANDHAN
It is indeed carried out in many maharashtrian communities, especially the fishermen community (KOLI People).
Next was - GANPATI FESTIVAL
In this also ,they have followed most of the traditions.Right from covering face of bappa before bring home, then dutta had to keep fast before ganpati sthapana & then everyday aarti & proper visarjan.
Very recent was GAONDEVI JATRA
This jatra also happens every year in ratnagiri district.
Next was - SHIV-PARVATI STHAPANA ON SHIVRATRI
The way nakku made stones in idols was so naive act of her but,on that particular day it left a huge impact on me,becaz in my own native place we have our KULDEVTA as SHIVJI & it is in Stone form.
There was no huge celebrations of the festival, yet it explained the true meaning in simple way.The meaning being -ur faith can make u see god even in stones.
The latest i found in today's episode - BREAKING OF COCONUT UNDER
BULLOCK-CART WHEEL.
When TANAJI is leaving for nasik to sell those herbs, coconut was kept under his cart wheels.
It is considered as good omen,if someone is leaving for some important work, then coconut is kept under that person's vehicle & breaking of that coconut means that the work will be successful & any difficulty coming in the way will be crushed like how coconut was crushed.
Many places, coconut is kept under vehicle of bride & groom's vehicle, before their marriage so that there should not be any obstracles in the wedding.Same thing is carried out when bride is taken to her sasural,so that her 1st step towards her new home is for betterment.
These were the few which i can recollect, but what i wanted to say is that LTL has always given full attention towards such small or large tradition related things.
In doing so,they have always maintain the true meaning of that tradition.
My intention of writing this post is ,i want to applaude CV's of LTL for maintaining the true spirits of these festivals & traditions.šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘
Do let me know, what is ur take on this aspect of LTL.I would love to hear ur views.
If i have missed something, feel free to add.
POOJA😊

Dutta Jayanti thi😲 ...I dont know ,,,, I was not watching it then....

Oh!! ek galti ki to maanfi banti haišŸ˜†

Oh I didnot watch that too...but yes I have heard that about well worshipping for the bride....
Next was - COCONUT BREAKING COMPITITION ON RAKSHA-BANDHAN
It is indeed carried out in many maharashtrian communities, especially the fishermen community (KOLI People).
Oh...That was unique and saw that too...had just started watching the show...😳...but found it very interesting...I didnot know it that it was a fisherman community festival...Thanks Pooji😃
Next was - GANPATI FESTIVAL
In this also ,they have followed most of the traditions.Right from covering face of bappa before bring home, then dutta had to keep fast before ganpati sthapana & then everyday aarti & proper visarjan.
Ya...that was too good too..they had maintained the sanctity...bechare Bappa ko utha ke rakh nahi diya tha...like other shows...and at that point of time I had come to know about the face covering thing too.....
Very recent was GAONDEVI JATRA
This jatra also happens every year in ratnagiri district.
Gaon devi yatra...yess somebody had written a post also...so good you guys noticed and realized it or we would not have known..

Oh that was ultimate...I loved it...the simplicity of it and the human forms of Shiv Parvati ...SunDev just took my breath away....they looked so cute the first time they entered na....and our Rudra Devta attacked on the poor guyšŸ˜†...yes...faith is such a good thing na....har ek patthar shivling ban jata hai😳

Yes...but normally they show it so casually...not LTL ...it does maintain sanctity of the whole thing...
These were the few which i can recollect, but what i wanted to say is that LTL has always given full attention towards such small or large tradition related things.
In doing so,they have always maintain the true meaning of that tradition.

And we applaud you for bringing all these small small things to our attentionšŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘...or they would have gone unnoticed and we would totally forget why we love this shows inspite of every drawback😃..thankyou mummiji *bows down in courtesy*😃
Do let me know, what is ur take on this aspect of LTL.I would love to hear ur views.
