They may have grown up in the same household but are complete opposites. Kala is a tyrant, she wants to rule with absolute authority to the detriment of the people of Patilwadi. Whereas Dutta rules with compassion, justice and has limits. He will never go into the flesh trade nor child labour, or drugs, for they are against his morals and principles. Kala would not pause for a second in dealing in those trades knowing they will bring Patilwadi into bad repute and harm the people. Where Dutta will give money to a poor mother to send her child to school,👏 Kala would take that child and put a gun into his/her hand.🤢 Where Dutta will give money to the man who cannot afford to get his daughter married,👏 Kala would take her and put her to use in a brothel.🤢 Where Dutta will save a whole family (Naku's)and ask for nothing in return,👏 Kala would make sure they repaid her for the rest of their lives. 😲
Dutta earns respect, Kala demands it.
Dutta works along side his men and treats them like comrades,😊 Kala watches from afar as they carry out her demands with the threat of death hanging over them if they dont do what she tells them.🤢
Kala is a sly, scheming and conniving woman who uses her power over words to twist people and trick them into doing what she wants. Dutta is a straight forward, honest and genuine man who asks that people take his request into consideration. Kala may get what she wants but in the long run people end up hating her,😡 but when they do as Dutta asks, they end up loving and respecting him more than they did before.😃😳
That is not to say that he cant command when the situation arises, for he can and does! 😲
But never to the disadvantage or harm of an innocent! 👍🏼
He may kill, but only to safeguard his family or his business, never for amusement. Kala kills for the sake of it, to show that she is superior and to be obeyed. 🤢
Dutta is a man who rules over a people who are happy under his rule and want him as their ruler, Kala is a woman who rules with an iron fist, beating down anyone who dares to raise their voice in protest. Such tyrants never last long and Kala's days would be numbered even if Dutta never came back, for the people of Patilwadi have had a great ruler and they would revolt sooner or later.👏
