Oh that random stars dancing in the weddings takes away all the charm of the reality factor of the story... the Fact that we connect to the characters as D and N and not as MR and MV, and are branding the LS to a level of the pious relation between the deities is because of the maintenance of the sanctity of Tasha...that is why every hug is so important, every touch is branded in our memory and every dialogue has some relevance in the eternal LS😳

Thats why I didnt say Seema is Sati. I compared the young Dutta to Sati as after Seema's betrayal that Dutta died and Dutta bhau mourned the death of that Dutta rather than loss of Seema/Seema's love.

With heavy make-up, MV reminds me of the actress Saira Banu......anyone else feel that way?😆

MV definitely needs to stay away from the heavy makeup they give her in JDJ. Its better though she puts on light makeup to cover the pimples. MV doesnt really have a great skin. Also her current hairstyle is rather nice. And I love the kajal on her eyes. That used to suit even as kali Naku.

Bang on Sru! Also add minimal accessories in his own outer appearance just like Lord Shiva.

@Ksh....Aparna has drawn a parallel between Sati and the dark Naku....which i find quite interesting!

Ya Ksh,.. I know you didnt compare Seema to Sati😆...I was just saying that I hate Seema coming into the equation at all...need to blot out of my memory😆...yes...that is true,...he mourned the death of Dutta...we could see it during that 'Kaminey' song scene....the lake scene where he first shares his story with Nakku...it was that Dutta he mourned the loss of....and as Appu gave a new dimension...she compared the dark Nakku to Sati...infact Nakku even tried to burn her face once just like Sati burnt herself....of course that was the fair Nakku...but still it is like Parvati and Sati are the same, just as fair and koel Nakku are the same.....

Shiva's vairagya is the essence of him...also he drank the poison for the benefit of the whole world...the same way Dutta chose this path and suffered because of his whole family...as AS had said he has been earning for the family since he was 8 or so....Also Shiva is considered to be wish lord,,,the most easy to convince and most easy to patao....just like Dutta...he too is benevolent to his praja....and Shiva's temper is known to forgive whole heartedly too...just like D forgave Kala the first time, and also Baaji and Nakku and has accepted them so whole heartedly...
I think I can go on and on without making any sense😆

(And I wouldn't mind hearing a bit of trivia...I love learning about names)

Thanks yaar 😳.

Oh you want to hear about my name, ok here you go 😃.....

When Parvathi was doing 'tapasya' for Shiv, she went on for days without eating anything, not even 'parn' (which means 'leaf' in Sanskrit). Thats how she got the name Aparna 😳.

But my mom always says she made a big mistake by naming me 'Aparna' as I'm a total foodie 😃....theres absolutely no connection to the real meaning of the name 😆! I just LOVE to eat and I believe one of my major 'karma' on this earth is to EAT and I think I'm doing a pretty good job of it
!

Oh I loved your foodie smiley Appu😆
Actually I loved the Parvati Tapasya phase of Shiv Parvati Marriage and role of Narad Muni in all that...
And then every deity trying to convince her that what would she do marrying an outcast deity like Shivji but Parvati staying firm in her love....absolutely adored her unequivocal opinions that she had voiced to all the selfish deities who had wanted to convince her otherwise😆i

True, why to unnecessarily bring Seema in between such divine Shiv-Parvathi pair 😡😃. Even a hair strand of hers cannot be compared to Sati / Parvathi 🤢.

And anyways, in DN's case, Sati would be 'kaali Nakku' and Parvati 'gori Nakku', as Shiv refuses to accept Parvathi as he still loves Sati 😳. Similarly, Dutta was not able to forget 'kaali Nakku' to accept 'gori Nakku' in her place. Nakku dint have much to convince Dutta to accept her after Seema....Supriya had already done that part of Dutta moving on from Seema. The main place where Parvati had to give 'agni pareeksha' was to make Shiv see that Sati and Parvathi are the same woman! For a long time Shiv wasnt able to accept this inspite of the fact that both are the same, with Sati reincarnated as Parvathi. Same was Nakku's problem - Making Dutta see that 'kali' and 'gori' Nakku are one!

@ blue - Oh ya, especially his 'anger' 😆, like Shiv, even Dutta does his 'taandav' when angry 😆!

By the way, a small trivia - My name (Aparna) is another name of Parvathi 😃.
I can tell you how she got the name, i.e., IF anyone is interested 🤔.

Ah! Finally an explaination to Sati too!👏👏👏

This is really interesting. I've to admit that at first I was a bit confused about why they were introducing "gods" in LTL, because despite being religious in many aspects, the show has sustained a realistic angle. If I'm making any sense. But then with Shiv-Parvathi and the explanation plus mirror-image in relation to Dutta-Naku - I finally got the point of it and now it's interesting.
I still can't quite wrap my mind around the fact that they're introducing actual gods in human forms on LTL. I would've preferred something alone the lines of Jagtap (you know, an actual human), but really it all depends on how they execute it.

@Sru, Aparna: Interesting discussion!

@Ana: I think they will have a realistic angle too. Dutta wont get cured by magic but thru Ayurveda. Ayurveda is a scientifically proven stream of medicine. Also Dutta had got a treatment done after which the doc said with time and rest he will get alrite. He was advised against thinking too much etc etc. And now its up to us what we want to believe...Dutta got cured thru a miracle or thru science.
