u guys sorry but I disagree with a lot of you see Mishal as wll as all parties concerned know that once he leaves Laagi non of us will continue to watch the show , this will lead to low trp's and eventually to the closure of the show . Just think of all the people that would be out of jobs all the people who gave their sweat and blood (literally ) for this show. I'm referring mainly to the people who work behind the camera , the spot boys , the lighting people etc. A lot of peoples lively hoods depend on this show. I'm sorry but if I knew that my leaving would affect so many people in such a negative way I wouldn't leave . I know that we all want to climb the success ladder but it shouldn't be at the cost of others ( we shouldn't step over others to get to the top) and btw people like that never reach the top. It's not like Mishal even has an offer at the moment that he wants to take up, and as far as him being mistreated goes as he said himself the tantrum rumours and the negativity started when he told the PH that he wanted to leave the show. My request to Mishal would be firstly please don't break your fans hearts like this , I don't think anyone has achieved soo much success in tv as much as he has, and secondly think of all the people who work for and whose lively hood and families lively hoods depend on working for LTL.

I agree with you & Datta played by Mishal is something that nobody can forget, We have enjoyed his performance with his entire team. If we put efforts now to stop the damage, we will be indirectly saving many people's livelihood, along with this show, gain will be mutual. So let's continue the good work of saving MIshal & LTL.

Every serial, every soap has to end one day. there is no soap which can go on forever. The showbiz is all about assignments, projects. Its not like a government job which goes on. Every one on the show knows that they are here till the show ends and then they will go on to something else...This is called 'freelancing'. The actors, the technicians and every one else are used to it.....No one can take a guarantee for the rest of the world...every one has their own journey....to be honest this is not a charitable business where he has to sacrifice his dreams for the sake of others...its all professional..nothing personal...

Who knows whether Mishal has an offer or not...Since he his committed to the serial, he may not be in a position to take up such offers and that is why he is frustrated.....He doesnt want to be like people who take up the offer and just say goodbye without a proper notice. Plus there is one more thing you need to understand...he is not growing any younger....if he has to make a career in Bollywood he has to do it now so that he can get some where....

All he wants is a date....he is looking for a closure on his current project to start something new....the production house can always come back with a new serial with the same actors and technicians and no one will lose their job.....

but to know that you have the power in your hands to make a successful show end sooner then it would have and put people out of work sooner then they would have been out of work . wouldn't that make you feel guilty . and i'm not talking about us thinking about the jobs of the people behind the camera , I think that Mishl has some responsibility towards his whole team of LTL . I agree that every show has to end some time but why risk ending it sooner then later, especially when the show has give you so much .

I don't know if you visit this forum regualrly or not but everyone has the same view that when Mishal leaves they will stop watching LTL and will even cancel subscription to colors. now if a show will lose viewer ship because 1 actor leaving , what do u expect me to say . And you guys are saying these things because your not a risk of losing your jobs , just because of one person.

Mishal has some responsibility and the channel does not? They wanted to introduce a new family and a new man for naku even after we pmed them we wont see the show without Mishal...How can they not realize their TRPs will fall once Mishal is gone...We have been requesting them to clear rumors about Mishal leaving for the past two months, but they have been silent on the matter...they have let newspaper spread around rumors about Mishal but cant be bothered to spend 5 minutes on some official news..does not sound like the channel cares about Mishal staying in the show or the jobs of the people who work on LTL..otherwise, they would have taken some action to deal with this situation weeks ago..

If there are concerns about Mishal jeopardising the employment of the lower rung ppl then please be assured that TV industry is a very huge one in India. Spot boys, Lightmen are actually people that a lot in demand.Just like we can never find a plumber or an electrician when we are plagued with leaks or powercuts.But Bollywood offers? Now that is another matter.I can't recall a single news in recent times where a TV actor has been approached for a major role in movies. If Mishal is getting these offers can we blame him for wanting to quit to take them up?
