Hi Friends, Yes I am back in the forum finally. Enough is Enough ! I cannot stop myself from writing this piece. I love this whole week in Laagi Tujse Lagan. Love Birds finally united and now they are together in Jungle . I would love to share one piece from Farid ud din Attar.
Fariduddin Attar was one of the earliest Sufi poets of Persia, and there is no doubt that the work of Attar was the inspiration of Rumi and of many other spiritual souls and poets of Persia. According to Attar, the faculty of devotion or quality of heart is the Second Valley, the Valley of Love.
As Rumi says, 'Whether you love a human being or you love God, there will come a day when all lovers, either of man or of God, will be brought before the throne of love, and the presence of that only Beloved will reign there.'
After watching y'day episode, I thought to share special poetry of Farid ud din Attar. This is translated version as primarily he writes Persian poetry. This beautiful piece of poetry is dedicated to Tasha and their eternal love story. And for all Tasha fans .
Intoxicated by the Wine of Love
Intoxicated by the Wine of Love.
From each a mystic silence Love demands.
What do all seek so earnestly? 'Tis Love.
What do they whisper to each other? Love.
Love is the subject of their inmost thoughts.
In Love no longer 'thou' and 'I' exist,
For Self has passed away in the Beloved.
Now will I draw aside the veil from Love,
And in the temple of mine inmost soul,
Behold the Friend; Incomparable Love.
He who would know the secret of both worlds,
Will find the secret of them both, is Love.
