And I LOVED how she suggested that she'd protect him - even if she didn't have his strength, she had her perseverence.. And she'd be there for him. I've never ever seen a stronger portrayal of a woman. She was soft spoken, she was loving, but she was STRONG! She didn't yell or scream or talk about random strength-related-metaphors. She was a wife who was telling her husband she will be there to look out for him. Not for a moment in that conversation did I think that she was exaggerating her abilities. She made ME believe that she'd protect him.. *awed muh* It's no wonder that Dutta looked as content/happy/peaceful as he did as he closed his eyes and tilted his head back. He was relieved and dare I say emboldened by her support - her words seemed to have filled him with the strength he needed to go on while they simultaneously provided comfort from that sting of betrayal/despair. *wonders if she made any sense* I can't help it! These two turn my brain to mush and after a while I can't even be sure if what I'm saying actually sounds remotely legible.. 😳😆

That part...I loved Naku to bits and AD too for penning such amazing lines. Naku looks so fragile on the outside but she is made of steel. Its Dutta who has made this inner Naku come out. I love the way she is getting Dutta to agree to let her help him and not feel weakened due to that but instead draw strength from her.
Apart from the obvious things in the episode I feel there is a shift in Dutta's personality. He is moving away from the dark brooding hero to a happier person who can savor the small joys in life. Case in the point is Dutta savoring Naku's presence...her voice...just Naku herself. Facing Seema and then reuniting with Naku has finally brought Dutta the peace he has craved all these years.

Oooh TIN! You posted it early today? Niiiiiiiiiiiice! *hugs*

Loved your description of the last scene.....I think I understand it better now....They did it so subtly that I guess I didn't feel the full effect on first watch...... the fact that DN had an actual conversation about WHY Nakku hid the truth from him without him even asking her for an explanation....she just gave it to him.....and those flashbacks showed him finally realizing her point too......the smile on his face when she mentioned the phere.....but my fav. was like I was telling you in the ED thread also.....his smile when she said her "aayi bolti hai" line and how she will be his strength now.....the way he closed his eyes and just smiled in happiness....very sweet.

You know how Dutta says something right after he realizes Sudarshan is close by and before Nakku suggests that they move to a denser area? *hopes someone knows what she's alluding to* Did ANYONE understand what he said? Because I rewatched that bit 10 times and it makes NO sense to me.. It's like he's speaking incomprehensible gibberish. 😳😆 If you understood it, can you PLEASE tell me what he said?! *hopeful muh some more* 🤣

Like Srushti pointed out, he said, "Khatra tala nahi, Nakku." 😊

And as you said, the way Dutta began and brought out that expression of going back to thinking of the pain of his Tai's revelation and how he let it begin sinking finally...it was fantastically done...great transition as he sits there and just falls into the thought...I thought it was done so perfectly, so unassumingly...

And Nakku's soft spoken, loving, yet strong and reassuring voice and presence...so very true!

MR excelled where he does best...expressing emotions through his expressions...bringing out that deep, vulnerable and quiet side of Dutta...and MV excelled at what she does best...being able to portray Nakku as the most delicate, almost angelic figurine, yet showing the moving-mountains type of belief she has...fantastic performances from both of them...with every conversation, it feels to me like their relationship becomes even deeper, and touches so many new dynamics that weren't there before...today, there was an ease, informality and companionship that was new...and it's scenes like this that remind me why I've flocked to watching LTL after seeing probably all that Indian Television has had to offer in the last few years...the fact that these characters talk...they converse...they share...they reassure...they advise and they discuss. They are not just caricatures who do the nok-jhok shtick throughout their courtship and even AFTER they're together...those characters which you can't ever see or imagine talking about various common topics, or even about life in general in a normal, routine way. But in LTL...you can see that, between each and every one of the characters, in each relationship. And most importantly in DN's...that there is a meaningfulness there which will see them together through all their silences and all their words...to me, the fact that these writers have given them those words to share, and such beautiful words at that, is something to be highly appreciated...

So true.....I got that sense too......there was a new ease and informality to their relationship....not that they'd ever really been super formal with each other but there has deffo been a shift now since this reunion......this is the first time that all awkwardness b/w them seems to have disappeared.....they've reached a whole new ease and comfort level with each other......

Beautifully said, Fatty👏👏......the way the writers have continued to add depth and meaning to these characters, their conversations is truly a rare rareee thing of beauty on Indian TV....and I really cherish that.....actual good convos are SO rare on desi TV when everyone is busy with instant gratification "hawtness".....but here we have a rare set of characters that have GROWN together in every sense of the word over the course of a whole year and more.....which other story on Indian TV can really boast of that? They TALK like you said....that's like an unheard of concept to most other desi shows😆

I think we're gonna get even better scenes/convos tomorrow.....the week's gonna end on a high note😊

@bold: Yeah, I noticed that too - even though it's just been 2 episodes since the reunion but meeting Seema seems to have shattered a lot of that "hurt" that he'd built up around him. Her betrayal had become larger than life for him and it was omnipresent in every decision he took. But now that he's seen her again, heard her apology and realized that he has truly moved on.. Now he's free. And now he allows himself to enjoy whatever happiness life sends his away. I think the dark-tinted glasses have come off his eyes and now the world has started to look like not such a dark place.. Maybe..? 🤔😆

Absolutely dude! I posted it early just for you! *masoom muh* So you have a place to discuss!! *masoom muh some more* 😳 😆 I got home at a decent time today - yesterday was a super busy day so I got home late but today was more normal. Is liye I just watched the show as I ate and then wrote it up jaldi sey before I forgot.. 😆
@bold: I loved the return of the "meri aayi bolti hai" line! For me, it's completely synonymous with the innocent, koyal, kaali-mitti-wali Nakku that it really caused my heart to swell when I heard her say it. It was so familiar and it reminded me of those happy times last year when they'd just started a friendship and were trying to get to know each other.. 😍

So that's what he said.. I was so lost when I heard him speak. I was like he's saying something important but I can't figure out what it is!! I re-viewed it a couple of times but then I finally gave up and thought I'd just ask instead. 😆 Thanks guys! 😃
@bold: I'm not sure what more I can add to that other than chanting "I agree! I agree! I agree!". 😃😆 I am so grateful for how REAL and NATURAL DN's characters are. They don't have to do random nok-jhok/mock fights/roothna-manana bits to show that they love each other. You can see it in the little things that they do. In the little glances and little gestures that they make towards each other and for each other. And you can see it in the way they tackle problems together for each other or against whatever it is that's troubling them. I can see this couple in real life (minus the old world romance and the don-maid bit of course! 😆). I can see them in my parents as they talk things out and sometimes argue about randomness but ALWAYS stay together. I can see them in friends or family who probably haven't had a lot of roothna-manana antaksharis but they still love each other just as much. DN are real to me.. and I am so glad that the CVs decided to treat them the way they did. And that AD pens down such brilliance for them to express their emotions! Really! I was just telling Anu earlier today - LTL has spoiled me entirely. I don't think I can put up with any other daily after this. 😳😆

Awesome TIN Fivr! 👏 *sigh* I just loved reading all you guys ki posts! 😍 SO beautifully worded and analyzed! 👏 I just feel like quoting everything and going ditto ditto ditto!!

The end DN scene of this episode was kind of reminiscent of old DN scenes yet it was indicative of a new phase in DN's life. It was old DN, the DN we know, yet so much deeper and evolved. Like you guys mentioned, the return of the "meri ayi bolti hai" line by Naku kind of made this scene come full circle. That smile on Dutta's face as he perhaps realized how insignificant his whole dilemma with gori vs. kali Naku really was. This has always been the same Naku, his Naku who will always bring peace, love, strength and hope into his life regardless of what she looks like.

This whole phase of Dutta's hiding and blindness and all has really made him realize how insignificant his worries about Naku being 'white' really were. The people he's met, and the enemies he's realized he now has, even his interaction with Seema. All this has made him reflect back and really see how even when his life is at its worst, Naku is there. She's always been there no matter what the circumstances may be. And amidst all the chaos, darkness, confusion he's in, all he really yearns for is Naku being there again.

And this scene as well as DN's overall reunion has just made him realize how insignificant everything else is at the moment. He's just SO happy and content to be with her. Like Srushti said, Naku just takes him to this dreamworld of possibilities. She takes him to a dream where everything is alright...gives him the strength to hope. And in this scene, Dutta just realizes how much he's missed this...how much he's NEEDED this!

As well, like you guys mentioned, this was indeed the first time these two had a conversation as a married couple! Man that thought just makes me smile and gush at these two! Like Fatima said, every conversation these two have is SO meaningful and poignant. I love how despite such a huge revelation regarding his very own sister, Dutta is so calm at the end of this episode. Who would've thought Dutta would ever be able to deal this way? Without smashing things, or going crazy or drunk or something? This is a new and evolved Dutta. Evolved with Naku's love and the circumstances they've faced together. Right now, he's able to deal with things with Naku beside him. He's able to deal knowing that Naku will walk the "teen kadam" with him.

This scene actually made you see what it's like to have a life partner! You know? To share things, actually be each other's support in every step of the way. Actually face the challenges together. We have gotten to see each phase of DN's life in this show, and now it's equally beautiful to watch them finally sharing a life together. They're actually sharing their life together in every sense of that expression. And that is SO rare to see on television as Fatima mentioned already! Actually see the entire relationship and journey explored! 😍 Haye, seriously what a love story! 😍

Hey Fivr,
Third TIN in a row, that means ab confirm ye post roz padne milega
I really like how u analyse each & every scene & dialouges in ur unique style,it always makes me rewatch the epi. for any subtle expressions which i might have missed.
So much has been said about DN talk, that i am wordless now😆,but really loved how their forhead touched & they had little moment of closeness where D was trying to see her & feel her thru his heart😍.The last scene was the very first husband-wife talk between them.In that we got our koel, innocent nakku back.As soon as she said -aai kehti hai & the smile which crossed dutta's face was priceless,it was like he was remembering those old days of their talks & then followed the wetting of eyes,it was too much to handle.Seriously these will couple will kill us one day with their love.
As for Kala's earrings, she was shaking & turning her head so much that the bead was getting entangled in her earrings so we got the impression that it is missing.Warna do u think classy kala will wear such toota-phoota earrings.I have confirmed this with my magnifing glass😆.

Must also be that they have been separate for so long, but I just love how they can't help showing affection verbally and physically to each other through words and gestures. The way they're caressing each other, showing comfort, just you know...not hesitating to show that love and longing they have for each other. It's definitely a new phase of their relationship. 😍
