For the last two days he had been watching Nakusha's activities, he had noticed her loitering around this area a couple of times and when he got out today in search of her, he noticed Vikas sitting on his cycle down the road, seeing him he rode away, obviously trying not to give away the whereabouts of his sister…

Bari jaldi hai tumhe dikhane ki, Dutta got up from the boulder on which he was sitting

Tumhe bari jaldi hai dikhne me, Nakusha retorted, it was quarter to 3…

Dutta winked, Nakusha glared, she was wearing the same salwar kameez but something was definitely different, holding his gaze, Nakusha lifted her kameez, she was wearing a vest alright but Dutta could also see a bandage roll peeping underneath the vest…Nakusha was bringing the kameez down, Dutta caught her hands, she tried to release herself but Dutta was stronger…Dutta waited till she gave up and looked away…yes it was bandage alright tied tightly around her body…Dutta lowered the kameez..

Nakusha's face was red but she quickly composed herself…

Toh woh evidence mita dete hai, she pointed at his mobile aur ghar me jakar bolte hai ki hum shaadi nehi kar rahe hai….she asked looking relieved…

Lekin abhi toh mere mataji aur pitaji a chuke Mumbai se, tumhare parivaar se baate kar rahe hai, 5 din me ek date hai, nehi toh phir 3 mahine ke baad…tumhe keya chahiye….

Soch lo, idhar udhar kuch bhi karne se pehle yeh jan lo ki Vikas ka keya hoga, log usse chhi chhi karenge, darpok bulayenge aur patah nehi keya keya…Vikas state level tak bhi pahuch nehi payega…

Nakusha stared at him clenching her jaws, Dutta saw her eyes filled with tears, she blinked them away to push her cycle forward,

I have informed my family that I intend to get married within the next 5 days…

Nakusha climbed up the cycle and left….

Dutta's parents were not too thrilled with his choice, though his father liked Nakusha's family, he did not comment on his son's choice of girl, Dutta's mother tried to open her mouth on couple of occasions to be glared by husband and son so kept shut, forced to keep her thoughts to herself though of course Bua and her family was not spared. The families failed to understand Dutta's reason of getting married in such a speed, while Dutta was too eager, the girl showed least interest carrying on with her earlier activities like going to practice etc., until Kiran got hold of her, gave her a thorough massage with haldi and chandan, Seema washed her hair and took her to the beauty parlour to get her ears pierced, forcing her to wear earrings, bangles, saris much to Nakusha's discomfort and disgust…

On the 5^th day evening in the courtyard of Dixit family, Dutta Patil's barat came, consisting of very close relatives, no friends and no frills, Dutta's logic was that we will celebrate in a big way after Nakusha becomes at ease with my family, the reluctance of the bride was very much apparent so his parents also did not force too much, inspite of everything they failed to understand why their son wants to get married to this reluctant girl...

Much to the surprise of Dutta and his family, Nakusha sat through the ceremony like a good girl, did not get instigated at the cat calls her friends gave from time to time seeing her in this state...what Dutta did not know that before the wedding Kiran had a talk with Nakusha threatening her with dire consequences if she made any ruckus during the wedding...Nakusha got scared, Kiran was the one who always scolded her or beat her up on receiving complaints, when she got fedup with Naku's antics or at times when Nakusha took the blame on Vikas's behalf...but today when she had a talk with Nakusha, there was something in her eyes,

Yeh hamare ijjat ka sawal hai, tumhare pitaji ka ijjat ka sawal hai, mai tumpe chilati hu, marti hu lekin woh kabhi nehi, tum abhi tak apne marji se jiya hai, tumhare khel kud ke liye mai tumse naraz thi, lekin tumhare pitaji kabhi nehi, unhe tumhare yeh harkate bahut pasand hai, tumhe bhi yeh maloom hai...

Agar aapko mere itna khayal hai toh mai toh yeh shaadi nehi karna chahati thi, toh aap kiyu mana nehi kar diya unhe...

Tum abhi nehi samjhoge, shaadi karlo tum ekdin akar mujhe 'thank you' bologe, aisa maath socho ki woh amir hai, isiliye hum tumhara shaadi ke liye raazi ho gaye...woh baat nehi hai...

Toh keya baath hai...

Tum apne aap samaj jayoge, tumhe thora koshish karna parega lekin samaj jayoge...yaad rahe meri baath, aaj pitaji ke ijjat ka sawal hai...

Dutta gazed at Nakusha, with her eyes down maybe for the first time not only dressed like a woman but behaving like one too...

When Dutta entered his room in the night for the suhaagraat, Mukesh presented him with a bat and a ball outside the door, dekh Dutta tere pyar ki bhasha Nakusha ko toh samaj nehi ayega, dosti to huwi nehi usse kuch khas, lekin better late than never, isse shuru karna, subah hote hote do char kiss tujhe milhi jayegi...Dutta had a hearty laugh and then controlled himself to enter the room, he was feeling a wee bit scared, knowing very well how he blackmailed Nakusha to this marriage and he knew she was waiting to have her revenge, though apprehensive he too was waiting to find out what Nakusha had in store for him...

As he adjusted his eyes in the dim lights of the room he saw the room which he was staying for last 2 weeks, it was looking beautiful with flowers and diyas, very traditional and aesthetically done, Dutta approached the bed, Nakusha was sprawled on it, in deep sleep. Dutta stood watching her, her false jura alongwith all the jewelries were kept aside, Nakusha sleeping on her pillow and hugging the one meant for him...Dutta Patil lies down on the bed, looking at ceiling then turned towards Nakusha, without her glares and frowns she was looking soft and childlike, his parents wanted to know what he has seen in his girl that he has to marry her without any delay...Dutta could not pin point the reason, he got attracted to her without her knowing, he admired her guts, her boldness, her harmless pranks alongwith her innocence...

Sometime during the night Dutta woke up on being kicked hard,

Areh Vikas, aisa nehi pair aisa hona chahiye, recollect how Sachin bends during reverse drive…

Dutta looked at his new bride groggily, leaned forward and patted her head before falling off to sleep once more…

Kiran is ryt.. one day nakku herself will thank her for gettin her married to Dutta!... *waiting for that day* ... Finally she behaved like a girl and married him..
