Dearest Appu!,thanks for the pms... "teri meri prem kahani" look,appu,tried to put aside your brief about the VM. Ofcourse the song is a currently played and acclaimed number,but have to admit never really struck the chords of my heart! .However now with the play on words like teri;meri; kahani;prem;mushkil,who have you conjured up before our hearts and minds,those two Dutta and Naku;the Don and the maid! ~the story is an invite to go through their story from the end to the beginning,under the light of a single candle,which does confirm the fact that no other couple on television has yet made a mark on the soul like Mishal/Mahi in LTL1!... ~the simple yet powerful captions in the start of the VM⭐️,give a clear indication to the viewer that this would be a tale not free from complications,echoing in my mind Shakespeare's famous words "the course of true love never did run smooth"!.So you began the story from the end , the candle first and then the warm embrace between the two, a blind Dutta who now sees clearly the truth about the family he loved ,and for whom he took the paths that he took; so the end rather than the beginning tells the tale,thought that was ingenious Appu👏 ,for we know the end,but your your VM's purpose is to joggle our memmories ,which I daresay we all love!
~loved the visual quick flick /FBs⭐️ showing us where the story began...the bond between the master/servant;later master/confidante, tormented ,betrayed master/enslaved ,punished wife; befooled master/ disguised wife; ..and finally master,lover ,husband/maid,the loved wife!!..all beautifully narrated👏 in your Vm!
~to me personally Appu, the VM brings home the fact that in comparsion with Romeo and Juliet which is predominatly a tragic love story,their love was jarred by their warring households, but in LTL1 especially in this VM Iam reminded yet again,that the warring element between Dutta and Naku was his distrust,his rage, his lack of discipline,and his strong yet weak doomed persona!!..that's why I love him to this day for like Hamlet "there was method in Dutta/Mishal's madness"...
Hence forth my friend, thank you for this Classic VM! All clips chosen and edited were nothing short of perfection,the lyrics complimeted the scenes appropriatly⭐️... You managed to capture the potent ,mercurial and charismatic expressions and acting of Mishal Raheja as the only Dutta!,in all the scenes you selected ! thank you Appu for this lovely Diwali gift!!!👏
