My faith in these articles has been restored (A BIT) as of late, with the stories about the FR on SR proving true.😲
I read the posts this morning regarding Dutta's anger. AND I have to ask you: WHY the surprise? It's absolutely in keeping with his character. And, as easily as most of us can put ourselves in Nakusha's shoes, let's look at this from Dutta's perspective.
Yes, he has convinced himself that part of the reason he loves Nakusha , the reason he can trust her is because she is not beautiful.
For all that has been said or done by Naku, she did screw him by hiding the truth, pardon my language. Seriously. Dutta has always had a problem with people not telling him the truth. It is one of the pillars of his character, along with his fear of beauty. And by keeping such a BIG truth from him, about something he has a big complex over, and getting married to him under false pretenses (I don't mean the love which is very real on both sides), she FAILED to understand him, and she SET HIM UP, UNINTENTIONALLY, for a big emotional fall. It was bound to happen--this INITIAL reaction. Of course, he's going to be mad! Wouldn't you if you were in his shoes? Come on!
I'm not thrilled about his reaction--locking her in a storeroom--very cheesy of the CVs! But I do like the fact that he walked away and will supposedly be absent for a few days. Hopefully, he will take time to think things through, and come back calmer...but that strain has to be there with Nakusha. No one can forgive such a big thing, even if one understands the reasons behind it.
Unfortunately, Nakusha, being challenged as she is, fell right into YET ANOTHER betrayal in Dutta's life--women holding things back from him, showing one thing and doing something totally different.....
You will get upset with this...but let me say this first: Nakusha is a much, much better woman and human being than Seema or Supriya ever were or could ever be. Of that, I have no doubt. And I understand thought I do not fully accept her reasons for continuously hiding her truth from Dutta even during the WEDDING! But, that's water under the bridge.😆 But on a very superficial level, she did the same thing (UNINTENTIONALLY) that Seema and Supriya did to Dutta: they made themselves seem like one thing to him (Seema, Supriya--that they "loved" Dutta; Naku--she was a simple, not so pretty girl), and turned out to be different. That is what makes Dutta mistrust women and beauty in general.
Hence, I'm happy with his reaction. It's consistent and it is right, given the type of person he is. I do not like the fact that he is equating it to her being pretty, but am not surprised that he fell back on this "pillar". Hopefully, during the days of separation, Naku can think through all her mistakes and bad decisions, and Dutta can realize that despite this betrayal by Naku, that she really does love him, and that he does not want to lose her.
I hope when he does come back, it's going to be babysteps of Dutta trusting Naku again. Absolutely. Why not? Her past actions/shows of love DO NOT excuse the fact that she kept this from him and married him under this terrible lie.
