Was very disappointed with today's episode.It was so Ektaish.This was the reason I stopped watching TV serials 4 yrs ago,these cheap thrills & twists.There is no justification at all for Roop's turnaround.If we recall she was alone up there in her room reliving her past misdeeds & feeling guilty.How on earth did she know Bajirao will come looking for her ? Why is LTL CVs stooping so low?It has always maintained very high standards in terms of story & consistency.The CVs has successfully turned it into an ordinary soap,We were barely able to get over that blooper of Dutta being unaware that AS is not his mum.And now this.Kala re-enters PN,Roops is revealed to have been play acting all along & now the evil trio are back together doing saazish against their brother & his wife.Chee!Chee!Chee! What happened to the spirit of the show?Where is the realism?

Of course most of us are very thrilled that a romantic scene is coming our way Monday but even that didn;t make up for today's cheap turn of events.I was so upset even the sight of Dutta could not cheer me up.

It was so foolish to invest emotionally in this show.Aakhir dikha hi diya they are just TV soap makers & nothing more.What a horrible start to the weekend.

I'll watch a few more of the episodes & see what happens.If its the predictable,Ekta type Kala & her sisters making scapegoats of Dutta/Nakku without any retribution & Nakku continuing with her farce endlessly then that'll be the final goodbye to LTL. I don't want the lovely image I've created of D sweetheart & his life in my heart ruined.

I sincerely hope Mishal finds decent work soon.And I also hope he wins the ITA award this year.All the very best to him.

Its always been a pleasure reading your posts,Anu.Really u put in a lot of effort despite being such a busy career lady.Keep it up.But I think I wont be around to read them if LTL continues in its current state.

I think that line 'aasteen ka saamp' for Baaji by Kala will be what the plan of evil trio is heading towards.Its ugly at its best.They are really making Dutta sheildless and then will attack him at his weakest .
But Roops ke baare me somethings arent clear even now.....Why that rakhi flashback,wo to she was thinking in solitude,not in front of Baaji.There is more to this I think.
And reaaaaly how can Kishore trust Kala.I thought he knows her inside out.I hope this new director doesnt change the shows essence.
I am getting too involved with LTL emotionally.If this show is slowly becoming "ektaish",i should stop doing that.

I agree...its TaSha who are the usp of the show. The 3 sisters were always ektaish. An attempt was made to give Kala some psycological layers though in between. I guess the same attempt was made with Rups too but frankly none of them is an interesting negative character like say Dadisa or Loha Singh. Its really Dutta with his various facets and Naku as Dutta's better half who run the show.

About this show turning Ektaish, the sisters' part of it has always been like that. If you have watched the pre-wedding episodes, you'd know what I'm talking about. So I'm not surprised at all that things are taking this turn. There had to be a huge drama over the FR...much like the Tasha wedding. What I'm interested in is Dutta's reaction and how he slowly assimilates the truth about Naku! That part, hopefully, will be sensitively handled.

Yeah for the FR the sisters HAD to be negative for enough drama to happen.

@bold: Exactly....I didn't find anything surprising about Kala's re-entry today......there are many other good things about LTL like some great writing, acting, direction but the storyline with the sisters has ALWAYS been OTT-ish and Kekta-ish since day one.....this is how they add the daily soap masala to this show to show typical scheming characters.

So I also have no expectations at all on that front.....I focus on the other good stuff....Dutta, DN, DuJi, the great dialogues for their scenes, the direction, acting and great use of music :-)

@blue bold: SO true! It is indeed a MAJOR rarity to see how the relationship of DN and Dutta as a character has been crafted and handled.

Kishore trusting Kala is likely cuz of Kala fooling him in some manner....it's very much possible....I don't think that has anything to do with the change in directors....the writers must have chosen to do so to bring Kala back in this fashion....obviously they have to change things around in some manner to give a twist to her entry....if she'd come back with Kishore still knowing her true colors, he would have told everyone instantly.....like she was shown talking to herself....she's trying to win over everyone's trust so that she can strike at the right time again.....and the DP revelation has given her a great excuse to use to garner sympathy over her previous behavior and pretend like she's repenting.

Kala had to be brought back to bring in the major drama most likely leading up to the FR....so nothing's surprising about how they brought her back in.....
