Thank you, Dibya! How many ways can one say MR is amazing? 😊 Roops comforting Baaji was very sweet too.

Oooh you finally watched....did your heart not just break for Baaji when he says that he feels like crying but he's not even being able to?? I honestly liked the epi....MR was fab as always and even the Baaji-Roops scene was really good.....very nicely shown and enacted.

Oh absolutely, especially when he walks into the room looking so lost, remembering Dutta's words and feeling so helpless. The way he clung on to Roops was touching, a role reversal almost...we're used to seeing men offer their shoulders for damsels in distress to cry on, but it was Roops who comforted him Very true....I didn't think of that when I watched the scene but you're right....I was toh more touched by how broken poor Baaji was....how helpless he felt not being able to "fix" this issue for his beloved Bhao like he otherwise manages to in every other situation...
and the fact that he didn't shy away from crying in front of her made it all the more different. The highlight of that scene for me though, was the way Roops reached out to touch his head instinctively but clenched her fingers back...something so poignant about it. And the way she put her hand to his face, rubbed his back. Ditto....honestly the actress did a very good job in this scene....the poignancy was so beautifully shown....my fav. has to be the way she put her hand on his face and he just naturally leaned in and hugged her....that was a veryyyyyy natural hug...and I liked it for that. ..kudos to Roops for being so supportive and encouraging to everyone despite being the youngest member of the family 😊 I'm looking forward to a scene between her and Dutta, especially her letting him know what she told AS, that love doesn't diminish or lessen just like this. I'm also looking forward to a Roops-Dutta scene.....more than AS, Roops might get through to him at this point as the only family member who might convince him of how much they all love him and how much he means to them. The continuation of yesterday's MR scene was brilliant...the dialogues, delivery..."Baap hai, isiliye fikar nahi tereko?" All those slaps were an icing on the cake 😆 But the best one was, "Paon nahi larkhada rahe mere, tu zameen pakad ke rakh." 👏 A surname may change, but the man remains the same 😊 Yep that was a fabbb scene.....It's repetitive to keep saying it but I'm seriously in awe of this man's acting skills....and yes the scene was very well written and incorporated in at that point too to highlight Dutta's pain by showing him lashing out at drunkard who was abusing his caring father.....and in the process also showing his own hurt at the truth that is revealed about his father being a drunkard, gambler responsible for the death of AS's husband......
Oh and yeah that 'zameen pakad ke rakh' was THE most powerful dialogue of the epi....loved how MR delivered it to👏👏....ofcourse the man remains the same....he's feeling off-balance at the moment but he'll realize that a change in a surname...heck just a MIDDLE name...he's still a Patil😆....doesn't change who he is.

@underlined: Word! 😊I'm also looking forward to a Roops-Dutta scene.....more than AS, Roops might get through to him at this point as the only family member who might convince him of how much they all love him and how much he means to them.@underlined: AS is as good as useless If he went away after she called out to him at the mandir, she could have followed him...I just don't find her behavior to be realistic within this point of time...any mother in a similar situation would be doing anything to reach out to her son, but AS has somehow accepted that he won't listen to her even without making any effort from her own side 😕 Does she expect that he will come around seeing her tears, or that others will make him come around for her? It's a waste of time commenting on her and Baabi though...nothing will change with them, and I don't expect it either.😊 Yep that was a fabbb scene.....It's repetitive to keep saying it but I'm seriously in awe of this man's acting skills....and yes the scene was very well written and incorporated in at that point too to highlight Dutta's pain by showing him lashing out at drunkard who was abusing his caring father.....and in the process also showing his own hurt at the truth that is revealed about his father being a drunkard, gambler responsible for the death of AS's husband......@underlined: That bit in yesterday's episode when Dutta is sitting drinking and the words of the argument register with him while he has his back to the father-son reminded me of Rohan 😊 The device of seeing your situation mirrored or reversed in another's life which results in revealing more about the character witnessing the events...an excellent and meaningful scene to put in.
