Who are the MOST INTERESTING CHARACTERS for YOU

I thought I'd send this post out to test the waters.😆

With all the developments, twists, and drag that we've seen to date, who do you find to be the most INTERESTING CHARACTERS on the show?

Name at most 3 and why.

For me, these would be:

1) Dutta - There is much happening with him, Naku's reveal, his sense of self changing, parentage and understanding of who he is, etc. I also think that he is the RICHEST and MOST ROBUST character on this show. I think I'm partial--I like strong and complicated personalities and good people, and he is all of those things. Mishal is such a fine actor, that I really do relate to the character and feel for him.

2) Kala - I'm drawn to the dark side, I guess.😆 Kala is interesting because there has to be MORE to her. You don't just BECOME THAT, you know what I mean? Yes, Kala is perhaps innately greedy , selfish, a sociopath. But somethings have to have happened in her life to make her the way she is. Her obsessions, despite having a husband and a son, the respect of her family, are inexplicable. I am just hoping the CVs take this challenge and really tell HER STORY. I don't want her to become all good and nice, that is just NOT CREDIBLE AT ALL. I don't want to feel sorry for her. But I do want to UNDERSTAND her and the CVs have demonstrated their expertise with telling the stories of its characters.

3) Damodar Patil, Daddy Don - There is just something appealing about him...an honesty, a sincerity, a man who has seen it all, and is not bitter. I like this guy, for no particular reason, I don't even know his full story yet. He just FEELS RIGHT. I want to know everything about him, and his relationship with Dutta, and the daughters. His life has shaped so many others'.

These are the three that I think are going to be the most interesting from now on. AS's story will be interesting, BH or not, but it's tied to those above. Naku is a character I do not find compelling much anymore, quite frankly. She is a good person, but compared to the others, is more one- or two- dimensional. It's all about her secret, her Bappa ways, her mom...the girl has no thoughts, seriously, separate of those. And, I'm surprised no one brings this up, but she BARELY talks to Dutta, and he does not to her. It is weird for two people who are so in love. And no, staring at each other longingly every friggin' day for the rest of the millenium, does NOT MEAN DEPTH of love or A COSMIC connection....it's the lack of. Nothing makes up for conversation in understanding one another.

i like baji,nakku and jagtap

baji- this charector is lovely and gives the real meaning to friendship.understands all and gives lots of love to dutta and his family members

nakku-she is very sweet..she is also same like baji understans well..innocent

jagtap-who gave real meaning to love...all his words are still with me can never forget in my life time

2. naku bcz she's very sweet,simple and da way she cares abut dutta.❤️

she has sweet voice. ilove her B/C of her voice.
and baji 4 he is best example of frndship.
i really like kala. b/c of her sincerity to destroy baho happiness

the first place goes to datta - who he is
next bajji - such a good friend
third place nakku - because she is not revealing her face yar

when i started watching the serial i watch for nakku. i really like her a lot. such a bold and confident woman. i don't no now a day were she went.

Interesting topic GP...

As u said Dutta's character is richest in the show. The character has been developed and nutured lovingly by the CVs and MR has understood him and brought him alive. I love it that in all his interviews MR knows why Dutta reacts in a certain way rather than attributing everything to Cvs/channel/trp game like many other actors.

After Dutta let me see I think right now I am intrigued by Patil Sr. His desperation to see/touch his son strikes a chord within me. Plus I am interested in the back story as well as I am glad Dutta now has a strong male presence watching over him. I hope Patil Sr is not killed off unlike Jags.

I am also intrigued by AS. I feel there is a LOT more to her than we see now. I thought the same of Rups too. She always confused me. But this week I understand Rups better and I am glad our patience has paid off and the Cvs havent disappointed us wrt Rups.

In a way I guess Baji, Babi and Naku are very simple characters. The show is thru their eyes esp Naku. So it had to be an innocent who is the protagonist rather than someone bitter like Dutta.

@Gp : Good post yaar and here goes my reply..............

1) Dutta : First and the foremost it has to be Dutta all the way for me. Agar woh nahin hotha show mein ,then I wouldnt be here talking to all of u. He is a very very interesting character. His nature/traits have been well thought of by CVs , so no wonder many of us adore him to bits. Actor who plays Dutta is like born to be Dutta for us. He is an amazing actor who kind of knows Dutta in and out. I was told that he gets a brief of Dutta's emotions everyday and he kind of sinks into that mode right away for the rest of the day. Kudos to him for being so sinciere at his work and entertain us day in and day out. I love Dutta because he is layered. Every epi there is something intruiging abt Dutta which surfaces. Every gesture of Dutta kind of paves way for something interesting abt his character. He was a sad soul and I guess I pitied him to start with and thats how he became very close to my heart. He is full of valor & compassion very hard to find in one man and I for that love him.

2)Baaji : He may not have as many traits as Dutta does, sure enuf because he wasn't trashed by a woman on his face. But neverthless, he is quite an interesting person. He is one of the main reasons behind Dutta's strength. He is part of Dutta's soul and for me Dutta doesnt exist without Baaji. Imagine what kind of days they might have seen together over the years. Baaji was less explored in this soap. I think now the focus will be on him too for a while and we might get to see different layers of Baaji , Dutta's friend and a loyalist.

3)Kala : The moment she said "Mein jo bhi hoon , jaise bhi hoon.........aapki wajah se hoon......." , her character got interesting. She holds onto something dark abt past. She knows something which might effect Dutta directly or indirectly. Which effected her and her thought process already. Interesting is the word!!!.

4) Senior Patil : He is totally unexplored and it will make for an interesting watch. The way he hugged Dutta did it all. He loves Dutta, yet he had to part from him.He cant hug dutta in open, he cant live without getting close to his son either. Another interesting character for the CVs to play with.

5)AS : She is not what she seems and what she is , we arent able to see right now. She is very intriguing and Iam sure in the coming weeks we will get some shockers from her. Neverthless she is quite interesting. I always wondered how come a mother let her son get into this dreaded business............ She will have to answer us that. She has to have her reasons (good or bad) .

6)Roops : How can such a loving sis-bro relation go sour?. That too it went sour only one way.(for one person, roops)........... while other (dutta) still considered her a loving sis. Roops went thru a very interesting chapter of human emotions. She I think many of us can relate to, Iam sure many of us had grt relatives, grt bonds, grt friends once , and that relation might have turned sour after few yrs ....... I have seen many such ppl and many such relations that phased out as time passed by. Its the perspective which does the trick. A very interesting and beleivable character.

7)Babi : I know many of u might say whats so interesting abt Babi, but for me there is. Why and how could a mother live all her life , watching her daughter go thru taunts?. How could she never feel quilty of her doings? How could she never try to wipe off the soot from Nakku's face when slum ppl were taunting her daughter?. How come she considers herself a mother after all this?. She is interesting in a way believe me, she is not the mother many of us lucky chaps have..........🤣.

Personally for me after Dutta it was Jagtaap who seemed quite intriguing. But now that he is out and dead, there is nothing left for us to explore abt his character, so thats why I didn't list him above.
