This is something I've been dreaming about for a while. Just had to put it in words.

Scene: A party/function at Patil Niwas. Moonlight flooded the garden, and as everyone settled down to enjoy the function'

she walked in, hesitant. She felt their eyes on her. They all wondered how she'd managed to snare him. She wanted to escape their questioning gazes, but knew that she ought to stand her ground. She managed a smile, and did not realize that inspite of the soot, there was this sparkle in her eyes which made her beautiful. There was something about her that made one guy's heart stop whenever he looked at her. Her dress, pale blue like ice, wasn't the reason why she glowed. She knew it was his love that made her glow. She looked at him, and her heart skipped a beat. He was busy talking to someone and she smiled as she realized that he was talking work, again. She looked at him, and asked herself how he ever fell in love with her. She had lived all her life hiding her beauty from the world. She'd yearned for someone who'd love her. And she knew that the day she unmasked herself, that someone would come.

And then he had come into her life and swept her off her feet. She'd loved him knowing that he'd never love her back. Loved him with the passion of a hundred unlived dreams. Loved him enough to ensure that he got all the happiness he deserved. She knew that she could win him, make him hers if she revealed herself to him. Once he saw how beautiful she was, he would be hers. After all, every man who'd seen her fair skin had fallen for her. But it pricked her, somehow she didn't want that to be the reason he fell for her. And so, she hid her dreams away. He was the moon, and she knew she couldn't even ask for a moonbeam. Even when he told her that he hated her to the core, it didn't hurt as much as having to hide her love. And then things changed. She'd noticed the change in him, and knew that he no longer thought her his enemy. She was his friend once more. But when he looked at her, she found she couldn't meet his eyes. The intensity of his gaze quickened her heartbeat and at the same time scared her. She knew, but tried not to hope. Every time he held her, or even looked at her, she found herself melt. She'd yearned for love, and now God had given her a love truer than anything she'd imagined. A love so beautiful, it made her weep with joy. Here was a man who loved her heart. Who loved her soul. A man who promised to vanquish the sorrow in her eyes, and cherish her for life. Nothing mattered to him; neither her looks nor her standing. She'd pined for a moonbeam, and now she had the moon.

He laughed aloud at something his friend said. He realized he'd been doing a lot of that, of late. And then he looked around till he found the reason. He was lost, the moment his eyes found her. He wondered how one woman could move him so much. It seemed as if he hadn't lived till the moment he met her. He remembered that fateful night when destiny had delivered her, right into his arms. He'd never believed in fate; for he'd always created his own. And yet, now he knew that some things are written. She'd come into his life, and soundlessly flooded every corner of his dark heart with light. But she'd been there by his side, and silently urged him on. Asking nothing in return. He didn't know her motive, and yet he found himself opening up to her. She unlocked all the closed doors one by one, and spoke to his soul. Her betrayal had hurt. For, she was the one person he'd trusted. And even when he'd decided to punish her, he made sure that it was only he who had the right. When she looked into his eyes, and told of her love, it scared him. For he knew he didn't deserve love. He knew she was playing with him. He fought her all the way, and tried his best not to care. But somewhere along the way, she forced him to look into himself. She slayed all his demons, and made him believe. He'd always be indebted to her. For it was not his life she'd salvaged, but his soul. She'd touched his life, and altered it with her goodness and her love. Their eyes met, and he found her gaze bewitching. He knew he'd found his soul mate; in the sense that she was his friend, confidante, wife, lover, and the mother of his children. As he walked towards her, he found the crowd melt until it was just her, and him. She wasn't scared, and returned his gaze with an intensity that drove him crazy. He'd never met a woman braver than her. He held out his hand, and knew that this was forever. And more.

Oh my !.

Liz...its beautifully n well written...I could imagine a M&B story running in front of my eyes (he he i have read too many of them) but i could visualize every word that you wrote and have D&N enact it out for me n felt good that i was this happy onlooker who is enjoying a peep into their love story...

But i know this is just not a M&B story.it cannot even be compared to it...LTL is way above that..its a love story that is far more deeper, far more real and far more eternal..and something that will stay in your hearts and minds forever and touches ur soul.

Loved the way you expressed it your words...🤗

* I m now in the dreamy world of D&N..n doing the re-run of this whole scene*😍

Beautifully written indeed. Plc continue to dream more and us such wonderful write-ups on Tasha. I almost realize now why i fell for LTL. It spoke of love and romance in a way that no serial could till date. I just want it grow more beautiful. I hope that when Datta sees naku' real face, that moment is shown as magical, ethereal and not shown as betrayal. Something that we've waited for so long should be the brightest and most positive part of this serial. That scene should be remembered as the most memorable scene ever.

This is exactly what I want! *sigh*
But I have a feeling that things aren't gonna be as rosy as they are now.
I agree with you. LTL is the most beautiful, most soulful love story EVER!
