Part 45
She sat on his stomach and admired him, his lips curved into a smile as if he's dreaming something. Thinking its Rahul or Aman, Dutta started tickling her. Nakku giggled, Dutta realised it was her. He opened his eyes and looked at her lovingly; she looked like an angel in his white kurta.
Nakku: Uthiye na.
Dutta: Hmm saune do.. tum bhi ao
Nakku: Nahin, mujhe aapko kuch dikhana hain.
Dutta: Kya?
Nakku: Aankhen band kijiye
Dutta sighed and closed his eyes, Nakku lifted her kurta and held his hand slowly she placed his hand on her belly. Dutta gasped and opened his eyes instantly. He looked at Nakku for a brief moment then down at his hand. He slowly rubbed it and felt it. For the first time he felt his baby. Nakku bit her bottom lips and looked down at his hand. He closed his eyes and ran his fingers over her stomach and then looked at her baby bump. Nakku smiled and slid down next to him; he sat up quickly and looked at her with teary eyes and a finger pointing to her belly. Nakku nodded and buried her face in his chest. He held her close and tight, none of them said a word, the silence said everything, they didn't need words to describe how they felt, their heartbeats did all the speaking.

Abhay came in the room and Roops looked the other way. Naman looked up and saw Abhay. He stood up and looked at him silently.
Abhay sadly: Choti ma?
Roops and Naman looked down at him shockingly. Roops melted for a second but turned her back to him and looked out through the window. Naman looked down without uttering a word.
Abhay: mama ne kahan tha ke uske baad aap hi meri maa ho. Aap aur papa mere wajayse jagda mat karna.
Naman: Abhay, tum jao aur Arjun ke saath khelo.
Roops: Nahin, usse jo bhi kehna hain wo keh sakta hain. Bolo Abhay.
Abhay: Choti ma, Aap mujhse nafrat karte hain?
Roops turned around and looked at him, his unshed tears and pain in his eyes reminded her of Arjun.
"What was his fault? He doesn't deserve this" She thought and nodded negatively. Arjun smiled and hugged her legs. Roops looked down and ran her hand through his hair. She knelt down infront of him and cupped his face wiping his tears.
Roops: Arjun ke paas jao, main abhi aati hoon.
Abhay nodded and ran out the room; Roops stood up and looked at Naman who was looking down waiting for her to say something.
Roops: yeh main tumhare liye nahin kar rahi hoon. Tumhare wajayse Arjun and Abhay shouldn't suffer. And Abhay should definitely not suffer because of you.
Naman: Roops...
Roops: Make sure you don't talk to me and stay away from me. I'm staying back only for the kids.
Saying this she went out of the room, Naman had a sigh of relief of his face as he followed her out.

"Yeh Kya hain... itni gandi plate... koi isse saaf karo, chii yeh kursi bhi kitne gande hain" Nisha shouted making a disgusted face as she wiped the dust off her hand. Baaji and Dutta stood behind the pillar watching her and then looked at each other.
Dutta: Dekho shuru hogaye... yeh pregnancy bhi na...
Baaji: Ab kya karein?
Dutta: Ssshh chupke se nikla jaate hain peeche se.
Baaji: Bhao aap bhi na
Nakku: Yeh kya hain... yeh parde to maine change ke liye kahan tha na? Abhi tak kyun nahin hua?
Nisha: Yahan ho kya raha hain? Sab kuch itna ganda hain...
Nakku: Pata nahin.. sab ke sab kahan chale gaye.
DuJi comes: Kya hua?
Nakku: Dekho iss parde ko dekho, rang kitna souka souka sa lag raha hain..
Dutta: Parde to bilkul theek hain Nakku. Tum itni pareshaan kyun ho rahe ho? Chalo beito aur khana khao.
Nisha: Baaji, tum jao aur yeh plates ko kitchen mein rako.
Baaji: Haan.
Nakku: Nahin, yeh theek nahin hain.. Aur aap yahan kya kar rahe hain? Jao yahan se..
Dutta: Kahan jaoun?
Baaji comes back: Ab kya karna hain?
Nisha: Kuch nahin.. tum bhi jao yahan se.
Baaji: Kyun? Maine kya kiya?
Nakku: Haan tum dono jao yahan se aur humein disturb mat karo
Dutta: Lekin...
Nakku: Rahul aur Aman ko Mela lekar jao.. woh dono kal raat se Mela Mela raga rakha hain
Dutta: Mela? Theek hain.. Chal baaji.
Baaji: Ho Bhau...

RaMan jumped out of the car and ran to the rides excitedly. DuJi followed them and stood behind them watching the kids on the rides screaming in excitement. RaMan held the barrier and looked up amazed. DuJi looked down at them with a smile.
Rahul: humein rides pe jaana hain.
Aman: Haan please papa... please chachu
Dutta: haan theek hain...
Baaji: Main bhi jaounga.
Dutta: tu koi baccha hain kya? Main bhi jaounga.. yeda
Baaji: Lekin bhau..
Dutta: Arre tu baap banne wala hain... kuch to khayal kar.. yeh ride chote bacche ke liye hain
Baaji looked down ashamed of himself, Dutta felt bad and put a hand on his shoulder.
Dutta: We will go on the other ride ok?
Baaji: Sach bhau... theek hain...
Rahul: Main jaoun?
Dutta: Haan chal..
DuJi picked RaMan up and made them sit on the ride and secured them with a metal barrier. The smile on RaMan's face was priceless. Dutta could capture it forever. He would give anything to have them smiling like this forever. The ride started slowly and went a bit faster, DuJi stood there looking frighten. It was as if they were on the ride, Dutta's eyes were glued on RaMan as if someone will steal them away from him. Baaji looked back and fro to RaMan and Dutta.
Baaji: Bhau... no one will steal them, calm down.
Dutta: Eyy chup kar.
Baaji: Why are you scared? They are enjoying the ride.
Dutta: I know, but ...
Baaji: If you keep this face on then it will definitely scare them.
Dutta frowned and looked at him; Baaji scratched his head and looked away whistling.

AS, Leela, Suds, and Pari made themselves comfortable and Kala served them tea with some snacks, she took her seat opposite them with Kishore and Anay.
AS: tu kaisa hain kala?
Kala: Main theek hoon AS.. aap bolo sab kaisa hain?
Leela: Sab theek hain tai... bas aapko miss karahi thi.
Kala: Maine tum log ko miss karti hoon
AS: ghar ajaya karo kala
Kala: Main zaroor aoungi.
Kishore: Bhau aur Nakusha kaisa hain?
AS: woh dono theek hain.
Kishore: Rahul aur Aman
AS: woh dono to bilkul theek hain.
Leela: theesra jo anne wala hain
Kishore: acchi baat hain
AS: ab hum chalte hain.
Kala: itni jaldi?
AS: haan.. hum phir ayeinge... khayal rakhna
Kala: Ji AS.
AS kissed Anay on his forehead, she looked at Kala with a smile and caressed her face. She bid goodbye and left with the rest. Kala stood there looking at her leave. Kishore took Anay inside.

Dutta and Baaji walked around the Mela with RaMan on their shoulders. Baaji was more excited than the kids as he wanted to go on every ride.
Baaji: Bhau...
Dutta: haan haan jaanta hoon ... tujhe rides pe jaana hain.. You said that 20 times already.
Baaji: Bhau.. dekho vahan ek carousel hain.. chale?
Dutta: Hmm chal.
They made RaMan sit in the middle and they sat on each side of them, the man came and closed the metal barrier. They started moving and went up slowly. Baaji looked down and closed his eyes. Dutta and RaMan laughed at him.
Dutta: Kyun baaji, dhar lag raha hain?
Baaji with closed eyes: Nahin toh.
Dutta: Chakkar aa raha hain?
Baaji: Nahin to
Rahul: papa chachu darte hain... dekha chachu.. hum nahin darte
Aman: Agar darte ho to kyun chadna chahte the?
Dutta: Dekha.. bacche bhi nahin darte aur tum?
Baaji looked at Dutta: Main nahin darta.
Dutta: After this ride, you're not going to go on anymore rides.
Baaji: Kyun?
Dutta: Bas aise hi.
.....
NaSha got the whole house cleaned and were placing some new plates on the table when AS, Leela, Suds and Pari walked in. They were shocked to see the whole house glowing.
AS: Nakku.. Nisha?
NaSha: Haan AS
AS: Did you 2 clean the house?
NaSha: Ji Woh...
Leela: Wow.. It's shining.
AS: you 2 shouldn't work this much. Iss halat mein theek nahin hain.
Nakku: Lekin yeh parde bohut gande the
Nisha: Aur woh plates .. Chii..
AS laughed: theek hain.. ab tum dono aaram karo.
Leela: Yeh dekho, main aap dono ke liye fruits lekar aayi hoon.
NaSha beamed and took the bag from her. Just then RaMan came running in shouting "Mama". Everyone looked at them and they hugged Nakku. She smiled and caressed their faces. DuJi then walked in holding a dozen bags and balloons.
Nakku: Itne saare shopping bags? What did you 2 buy?
Baaji: Poocho mat... ask your laadlas
Nakku: Rahul.. Aman, kya hain yeh sab?
Rahul: kuch nahin... important cheezein humare liye
Dutta: Kuch kapre aur khilone hain..
Nakku: Khilone? Have you seen their playroom? There's no more space.
AS: tum dono aur khilone ke saath kya karoge?
Aman: Yeh hamare liye nahin hain
Nakku/AS: to phir?
Rahul: Yeh hamare behen ke liye hain.
Dutta: Tumne pehle kyun nahin bataya?
Aman: Surprise tha.
Baaji: Arre mujhe to bata sakte the na.
Dutta: Lekin yeh to ladkon ke khilone hain.
Rahul: Haan, uske saath saath hum bhi kheleinge na.
Everyone laughed at his statement and Nakku hugged them. Dutta went upstairs with Nakku and RaMan to their playroom, while Baaji went to his room with Nisha. He gave Nisha some bags that he bought for their baby.

Dutta sat on the floor in the playroom and took out the toys; RaMan sat down opposite him with Nakku. Seeing the cars, motorbikes, yoyos, robots and a playhouse, RaMan got excited. Their excitement was seen clearly through their greenish greyish eyes. Dutta looked at Nakku with a smile and signalled her to meet him outside. He got up after saying he would come back to RaMan and went out of the room. RaMan got busy playing and Nakku went to see what Dutta wanted.
Nakku: Kya hua?
Dutta with his hands behind his back: I got you something as well.
Nakku: Sach.. kya? Dikhao.
Dutta: Pehle ek kiss do.
Nakku: Nahin pehle mujhe dikhao kya lekar aye ho mere liye
Dutta: Hmm nahin.. itni asaani se nahin.
Nakku sighed: Theek hain..
She tip toed, held his collar and pecked his lips; Dutta closed his eyes and smiled.
Nakku: Ab dikhao na
Dutta brought his hand forward and showed her chocolate flavour ice cream. Nakku quickly took it from him and licked her lips looking at the box.
Nakku: Ice cream... mere liye?
Dutta: Nahin parodsi ke liye.
Nakku laughed: Thank you.
Dutta: you're most welcome.
He pulled her close and passionately kissed her while his hand held onto her waist lightly. Nakku encircled his neck and with one hand gripped his hair. Nakku broke the kiss and looked at her ice cream.
Dutta heaved a sigh: Theek hain jao aur khalo..
Nakku grinned and went to her room hurriedly. Dutta went back inside the playroom where RaMan were playing and sat down with them. Aman went behind him and hugged him. Dutta knew what he wanted, he knelt down and bent over, Aman climbed on him and Dutta moved around using his hands and knees.
Aman: Chal mere godhe tik tik tik
Dutta: Godhe?
Aman: Haan chachu ne kahan ke jap aap aise karte ho to aapko godhe bulane ka.
Dutta frowned: uss baaji ki to..
Rahul: Chachu to gaya kaam se
Dutta: Rahul, tu bhi aa. Climb up.
Rahul ran to his dad and climbed on him; he sat behind Aman and held onto his shoulders.
Dutta muttered: yeh kya? Yeh dono to bohut bhari ho gaye hain.
Rahul: Kya hua?
Dutta: Kuch nahin... Chalo..
He started moving again; RaMan started their song "Chal mere godhe tik tik tik"
......
Kala sat on her balcony; she watched Kishore and Anay going on and sipped her scotch. She leaned back onto her chair and rested her eyes. Someone came from behind and put a handkerchief full of chloroform onto her nose and made her unconscious. He picked her up and took her with him. Another man left a note on the table in her living room an they went in a white van.
She opened her eyes in a godown, "Errr this place is disgusting" she thought and looked around making faces. Unexpectedly someone splashed a bucket of water on her, she shut her eyes tightly and groaned.
Kala: Kaun hain? Main kahan hoon?
She tried to break lose but she was tied up to a chair. She screamed "Chodo mujhe" and gave an irritated look to the shadow infront of her.
Man: Shant hojao Kalawati. Shant
Kala: Kaun hain... himmat hain to saamne ajao
Man: himmat to hain.. lekin dekh kart u kya kar legi?
Kala: tujhe to main...
Man: Shhh kitni bolti ho tum.. Relax
Kala: Kya dushmani hain merese?
Man: Terese dushmani? Nahin re... terese nahin.. tere bhau se.
Kala: Dutta Bhau?
Man: Haan.
Kala: to mujhe kyun kidnap kiya? Uske paas to biwi hain bacche hain.. inme se koi kidnap karte na.
Man: Haan lekin Patil Niwas mein jaana todhi risky hain. Easy target to tu tha.
Kala: How did you find out where i live?
Man: Itni hard bhi nahin tha. Mere admi ne AS ko dekha tere ghar ke paas.
Kala: aage tera plan kya hain?
Man: Main tujhe kyun bataounga?
Kala: Kyun dushman ke dushman dost hote hain
Man: Matlab?
Kala: Dekh... tu Dutta se apni dushmani khayam rakht... aur main apni nafrat...
Man: tu Dutta Bhau se nafrat karti hain?
Kala: bohut zyada.
Man: Chi Chi kaisi behen hain tu?
Kala: Apni aukaad mein raho
Man: Aukaad? Hmph aur teri aukaad kya hain Dutta bhau ke bina?.. tu uss bhai se nafrat karti hain jisne tujhe sab kuch de diya? Vaaah kya behen hain?
Kala: Shut up.
She glared at him angrily, he laughed and vanished in the darkness without giving her an opportunity to look at his face.
......
Nisha sat on the bed looking at the toys baaji bought for their baby. She held it lovingly and looked at Baaji with teary eyes. He nodded at her whispering "no" and wiped her tears with his thumb. She held a teddy bear close to her chest, it was soft and cuddly. He came closer and hugged her sideways and caressed the teddy with one hand.
Nisha: Thank you.
Baaji: Anything for you.
Nisha: What's in the other bag?
Baaji: You'll see.
He smirked and took something out of the bag; he looked back at Nisha and winked at her.
Baaji: Aankhen band kado.
Nisha: Kyun?
Baaji: Please.
Nisha: Hmph theek hain...
She closed her eyes and he looked back at the things in his hand... A few minutes later, he held her hand and led her to forward. He hugged her from behind and rested his head on her shoulders and his hand on her stomach.
Baaji: Ab khol sakte ho
Nisha opened her eyes and was touched by his gesture. There were different posters of babies on the wall all around the room. One of them, the baby was sleeping half covered with a blue blanket. The other had a baby in a water bucket smiling with his twinkly eyes; Nisha turned her head around and saw another one of a baby sitting next to a teddy bigger than her size. She giggled and looked around and found another one where a baby is sitting on a table smiling. Nisha's eyes started to well up when she saw another one of a baby holding a phone the other way round to his ears. She turned and looked at baaji and hugged him tight. He smiled and pushed her hair behind her ears and nuzzled down her neck and bit her lightly. Nisha moaned softly in his ears and grabbed his kurta. He cupped her face and placed a light feather kiss on her forehead. Nisha looked at him for a brief moment and closed the gap between their lips. Baaji gasped through the kiss and responded back to her. Her hand slid up his arms and chest, she held his collar and pulled him closer. Baaji picked her up and put her on the bed carefully.
